P220, ZMA or should i wait for few more ?

Hey Guyz i am planning to buy a bike,i am basically looking for a powerful bike, I had a RXZ which was awomse now i have 3 bikes in my mind ZMA,P220 or RD (but i think i would be spending more time in a garage instead of riding the bike on the road)
I am damn confuse which bike should i go for, basically i was looking for a SBK but as of now its crossing my budget so cant go for it right now, then i thought of buying a second hand comet but then got to know that there are hell lot of issues with spares so suggest me what should i go for? and yeah i want to come to a conclusion asap.

Thanks
Devang

Here's a couple of rumours to add to that confusion
- the TVS 250
- Obviously, Bajaj may have to suspend plans and launch the 250 to respond. Said to be launching "after June" - and that could mean anything at all....
- the new TBird 500 with the AVL engine

The Dicor2.2 ain't alone....

out of the motorcycles you've mentioned,
zma: for a hassle free reasonably quick city ride.
rd350: for going crazy everytime you crank it and visit the mech.

a used comet may turn out to be a good buy if you can find a clean one.

Yamaha had plans of the fazer 250, but according to the latest press release (Yamaha India worsens; shuts production to clear inventory) , it seems unlikely.
Yep tvs are working on the 250, but no ones knows when it will come out.

Bajaj will be selling kawasaki bikes, branded under bajaj logo, starting with a 250cc bike. But again expect to pay around 1.5 to 1.75 for that.

If you need it right now, no choice but the Zma. If you can wait, the P220 (as i feel you'd like that better than the Zma).

Forget about the RD. Seriously. Its been romaticised to death. And its not a bike on which you can simply jump on and enjoy. You need to build a relationship with it to get the best out of, so be very sure of your requirements.

RD is like a lover grl, needs love and attention all the time. P220 should do for you.

in mumbai, spares shoulnt be such a big issue which so many sbk dealers around. Fast moving items like clutch plates, pads etc are available, although not always off the shelf.
There is a Red comet, used 6500kms, with an after market exhaust, K&N filter, scratch less condition, for sale. Its in Pune. The guy has the original exhaust and the original filter with him.

i think he sold his comet long long time back.. and with all that stunting, his comet had a new look

this one is a gem of a piece, scratchless..used only on weekends for a ride here and there. around 18 months old, used for like 6500kms. Really a good piece. owner is looking at a big bike, with a budget of around 3.5 L and hence is selling it

Get a 220/200 or a Karizma, only look at comet if you are looking to ride her in the weekends and that too not too much. Getting spares from Kinetic is tough; getting spares imported from SBK dealers for a comet is sheer madness especially with the time and money involved.

I have P220. Its fun to drive machine. Big bike feel. Best handling among all the indian bikes. But when is it gonna launch, no one knows.
