| Yamaha Tracer name trademarked in India Yamaha has filed a trademark for the name Tracer in India.  Yamaha sells sports tourer motorcycles with big capacity engines under the Tracer brand across several international markets. So, with the company trademarking the name here as well serves to hint at the upcoming arrival or at least that the company plans to bring in Tracer sports tourer bikes in India.  At the moment, Yamaha retails Tracer 700 as well as Tracer 900 in some markets across the globe. Yamaha Tracer 900 is also retailed in a handful of markets in Asia, including Indonesia and Thailand.
