@silverstreakcbe Welcome to the World of Royal Enfield. Firstly congratulations on your purchase and wish you many more happy miles on the Meteor. I have owned a RE Classic 350 for 6 years which was plagued with multiple issues - ranging from ampere meter short-circuiting to a (permanently) dead battery (a weird brand called Wind if I remember correctly), clutch wire snapping off, and last but not the least chain sprocket failing.
Hope RE has rectified the major issues in the new bike's lineup (i guess minor ones like the fuel indicator issues still remain).
The above-quoted lines show the way RE after-sales functions. Some Meteors were recently recalled for faults in their ignition coils. Please check the time frame (i think it's for bikes manufactured between Dec'20 & April'21) and hope your bike doesn't belong to the given series.
Pls keep a sharp lookout for any issues and make sure to bring them to the dealership service guy's notice immediately.
