Oops! I missed reading that, was taken away from all the pictures.
But why?

Owing a RX100 and ridden a RX135 extensively in the past I can say that the additional 35cc and power bump is something you would always want.
Say this to most of my friends who plan to buy a RX100 and restore it. Plus its easier to get hands on a RX135 and restore it and enjoy the little more power.

So, nearer to my native - I have a strong friend, who can help me with any issues or repairs in my bike. (RX135)
Let me also write my first thread about my bike soon. Your thread is tempting me to write it as well.

Posting a pic of my ride

re: My nth Yamaha RX restoration | RXG to RX100 Conversion - Completed

Awesome find, good to see another stock one coming up.
The garage pics reminded me of my college days, spending days either on my bike or my friends.
Had an Rx 135 Tiger throughout my college days.
Now it's been a couple of months since started. Well I'm sure it would start in a couple of kicks.
Goodluck with the restoration. The paint job will turn out well.

Closer to my hometown. Good to see likeminded folks closeby. I am the owner of 2 RX100s. Both 1990 models.

Pic of RX resting in lockdown.

Always a pleasure to read your restorations. Thank you for keeping the spirit of RX alive. P.S: Nice thread title. I was wondering when you would lose count of the restorations going by the rate you've bought, restored and sold RX's for as long as I can remember.

Cheers!

Thank you.
Except 1 or 2 other RXs were not sold actually. They were seized by very close circle and the options I'm given were either to quote the price and get what ever I quote, otherwise it will be considered as my gift

PS: I should quickly secure my current garage, before people start to invade

How do you do the stripes ?

Do restorers replace decals with painted designs ? If yes. How is it done ?

Painting needs a lot of attention and experience, easy and quick solution is Golden decals. Any sticker shop could do, provided the dimension and profile is maintained.
