The LiveWire One electric motorcycle has been launched in the US markets, with a starting price of US$ 21,999 (approx. Rs 16.41 lakh). Harley-Davidson though has announced that the LiveWire One will also go on sale in other markets from 2022.

The new electric offering is said to be built on the original LiveWire motorcycle. However, it is claimed to come with evolved software and hardware, while also reflecting the identity of the new brand.

The motorcycle is powered by the brand's 'Revelation' motor, paired with a 15.4 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The electric powertrain is said to produce 101 BHP and 114 Nm. Harley-Davidson claims that the LiveWire One offers a maximum range of 235 km in the city.

The motorcycle comes with both standard and fast-charging options. The LiveWire is said to be capable of charging from 0-80 per cent in 40 minutes and 0-100 per cent in 60 minutes, using the DC fast-charger.

The electric motorcycle also comes with a 4.3-inch touchscreen instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, voice recognition and more. Other features include traction control, ABS, EV fault sensors and multiple ride modes.
