The best two-wheeler ads

I wanted to post this in the "the best car ads" thread, but now that we have the motorbikes section, I'm creating a new thread. Mods, please merge/move if you deem necessary

The new series of Ather ads are beautifully made. from the concept to the background score to the the video, all convey the message clearly without even uttering a single word

Re: The best two-wheeler ads

Beyond a doubt...all the best motorcycle ads are by Bajaj

Right from Hamara Bajaj to Cheetah morphing to RTZ to definitely male to fastest Indian to even the step through M80 to Bajaj Wind or showcasing Jackie Chan, whether we remember the products or not, the ads are ever etched in the memory

One of the prime reason being, Bajaj ads, if not all, most of them are emotional, like meeting an old lover, father coming home, family's support in togetherness, friends hanging out, honesty etc.

Something similar to Ather, but more than a decade ago...

True. when it comes to automobile ads, Bajaj is the Tata of 2 wheelers

I like that "if not all" in your post.

The "Haathi mat paalo" has none of these emotional values, I enjoyed it. it was really a hilarious and nice series of ads

PS: I owned neither of the vehicles shown in these ads, I enjoyed the humour

The Hero Honda CD100 ads are one such collection even I'm aware of. (Yes, I was born much later.)

This is one part I did not like about BAL when they were making mockery of RE. Original BAL ads, including the Bajaj RTZ 125 (which was competing against Rx) was pretty decent.

This was once considered hilarious, but Suzuki Samurai lived to it's commercial in reality, it was a true no problem bike

This might probably have been the first commercial for a two-wheeler with an international star

Re: The best two-wheeler ads

One common thing about 2 wheeler ads is that all of them have empty roads!
How is that even possible? One guy or girl riding on a road that looks like a F1 track and in most cases features a foreign location. There's nothing innovative in recent 2 wheeler ads. But Bajaj somehow makes better ads like these:

Checkout these Kawasaki international ads:

Ather ads were hilarious and so was the Haathi mat Paalo and from experience resembles reality

The Pulsar ads were good too but my favourite one from Bajaj is this : Credits to Providers

Re: The best two-wheeler ads

Bajaj has brought out some lovely ads. That Feel Like God ad came at a time when I was feeling a bit down in life, and it actually helped me.

I didnt like their Haathi mat paalo ad's though these werent as bad as TVS' eat-my-dirt stuff.

Having said that - the KB100 RTZ ad where the bike morphs into a cheetah has not been found online. Would be nice to view it again.

Re: The best two-wheeler ads

Bajaj will be super happy seeing this thread. One of my favorite two wheeler advertisement is also of Bajaj Pulsar ( Pulsar Mania).

I had Pulsar 150 DTSI during my college days. After I finished college and moved to different city for job, my Dad rode it for few years, he also loved it.
Then eventually Dad moved to Activa and we sold the bike.

I had MP09-XX-2009 number plate in the year 2005, it was quite famous in the college .

Not everyone will agree, but I like this Dominar ad, even though it trolled Royal Enfield.

Related Discussion (Bajaj ridicules Royal Enfield in video ad)

Too many youngsters these days on Team-BHP; how else can one explain this classic being missed out?
