Another query:Have you opted for the RSA? Is it worth additional 4K as I am planning to buy 4th & 5th year extended warranty for 5K and RSA coupled with it till 5th year is 9K
Yes, I have the same information. Accesories have arrived they will unbox tomorrow apparently. I haven't got the RSA but have got the extended warranty.

Re: Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650cc, now unveiled

A reviewer stuck his charger in the socket which is under the panel. This broke his wire joint. I thought the charger is behind the console somewhere but this location isnt convenient.

This feature of providing USB charging seems to be like a gimmick rather than a boon . It seems like just to make sure in the papers about the charging port availability, a provision has been made.

Cheers

Which color did you book? In general, as a person who saw all the colors in flesh in rider mania, what was your favorite?

I'm happy in the ADV space Cyborg. But this does tug at my heart, so you never know

I went for the Astral Black since I am not a fan of dual tones.TBH, Colour choices are subjective based on personal preferences. The astral blue(single tone) is a head turner but I dont prefer mine being too flashy(may be a traditional mindset).

Any idea when more customization options, like LED indicators, be available?

My dealership has only sump guards and LED indicators in stock. The rest of the accessory delivery timeline is not clear it seems. Most pro'lly it might be available by March.

My dealership received a few sump guards, led side lights and led head light.
Yes led headlight. They have got you covered incase your headlights get stolen.

Crash guards, if ordered, would come along with the bike package, he said.

Re: Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650cc, now unveiled

I think RE has dropped the ball on the color selection IMHO, my Fireball custom black meteor 350 looks so good all blacked out that I'm about to cancel my booking of the black 650. None of the colors seem attractive to me in the 650, basic black and basic white colorways should have been included in the base variant.

Re: Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650cc, now unveiled

Spoke with my SA regarding test rides and he mentioned that bikes are not yet approved by Karnataka RTO and hence the delay. He said test rides may start late next week or last week of this month and the deliveries may start from March 2nd week. Anyone else to corroborate?

Same case here in Kerala as well. There are some formalities at the RTO level on new bikes which is being done by RE. My bike has arrived at the dealership and I did the PDI and payment today but they says it might take 4-5 days atleast.
Even the test ride bikes have arrived and are facing the same issue with registration before the TR starts. RE should have planned a bit well in advance as the first rush bookings will be cold due to the delay in test rides.
