It is possible to install the touring seat, i have checked the touring seat installation document, these show room guys don't have basic knowledge about their own vehicles. U can buy any variant (Astral, Interstellar) and install the touring seat.

Does anybody have soft copy of the user manual of SM650. Have booked astral Black and wanted to go through the same in details before taking delivery, which is scheduled by EOM.
Thanks.

Re: Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650cc, now unveiled

Went for a long ride, the super meteor 650 is a wonderful machine, the seat is a bit hard for my liking will change it in the future, got a denali sound bomb mini installed as the stock horn was not loud enough, i also own an interceptor 650, so u can see both the 650s side by side.

Does the AEW Exhausts void the warranty? I understand its a simple plug and play installation but still, have you explored this aspect?

Re: Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650cc, now unveiled

Today got chance to see celestial red variant and unfortunately this colour didn’t ring the bell. Hence changed my booking from celestial red to interstellar green.

For some reason the celestial red looks very dull and doesn’t look like a premium bike( this is just my perception). Also another observation after 3rd test drive is that the left side cylinder head touches the legs, I got my legs burnt lightly due to this

Re: Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650cc, now unveiled

I happened to visit the Acclaim motors Yelahanka showroom today and saw 4 colors on display. Celestial Red, Celestial Blue, Astral Black and Interstellar Green. Anybody who is unable to decide the color can use the opportunity
I personally liked the Astral Black color.

The Celestial variants had the touring seat fitted. The touring seat increases the riding height and I felt little uncomfortable with it. The touring seat, backrest and the windshield combination kind of changes the look of the bike substantially. I did not like this look either.

Re: Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650cc, now unveiled

Hi, this is my first comment on Team-Bhp

Booked Astral Green variant after a test ride at Bolt Hitech City, Hyderabad on 4th March.

The booking receipt on email says tentative delivery date of 20th April whereas the showroom folks said it would take 4-5 months.

Does the status of the booking on the RE app change? It's showing as Active for now.

Wanted to check what would be good option for paint protection, ppf or ceramic? Or something else?

I booked an Astral Black on 16th Jan at Bolt Gachibowli. I had customized the pillion seat on the bike.

The app just shows a tentative delivery date of 1st April. The status hasn't changed since the booking.

I was told that the waiting period was 90 days. I was hopeful that booking on launch day would be prioritised but I have been seeing Interstellars on the road. I console myself by assuming that these bikes were all booked during Ridermania in 2022.

Re: Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650cc, now unveiled

Took delivery of my interstellar grey yesterday and took it for a good spin. I am back to biking after 15 years - and boy-o-boy - this is the best ride I have had for a while! Bike flows with you - listening to slightest nudges and throttles. Super easy to drive in traffic - spent almost an hour in crawling traffic and I did not feel any stress. And on freeway all I was doing was grinning . Loving it. If people are on fence, give it a good test ride! It will not disappoint one bit.
