Tvs Suzuki Supra

HI Fellows,

I learnt biking on a Supra (the 9.65 BHP, not the later 11 bhp). All folks at home had gone off as there was a death in the family, and I nearly killed myself as I tried taking off on the bike. The bike wheelied and I somehow let go of the accelerator.

This bike is about 16 years old. And I still ride it around. Everything is original specs except the rear tyre which is a 3*100 set up from MRF.

The most I've done on the Supra is about 250+ KMS in a single day, and the bike runs very reliably.

Currently looking at the Comet. I shot a letter to Kinetic and the lady Vismaya replied almost immediately. Which is pretty good testimony to Kinetic's PR. Let me see how far I get with it.

Now in Bangalore, so had to leave the supra back in Mumbai in Jan this year.

Well it seems plenty of bikers around in house -- and yes I'm another one to join the huge list . The first bike that I bought was a KB 100 in 1991 , it had rear shockers taken from onee of the hero honda bikes ( dont remember ) . A few yrs later modded this bike big time with a ported head , etc and also a mono shock . It was one of the first bikes around this side with a mono shock. 1995 i bought a Honda 600 ( Dirt Bike /) .. used it for a few months and sold it when I got a double deal ... sold that and bought a Suzuki GSXR 1100 ... In 1996 feb I sold this and bought a CBR 400 !!! Kept that for about a yr and only sold it when I headed back 2 India.

After that I bought a friends RX 135 but after the big bikes this sucked so disposed it off faster than I bought it. Finally in 2001 i bought the Eliminator , which till date I own thoyugh riding time on that has decreased drastically after the first 2 yrs ... !!

Hope to buy a Gold Wing some day ...... or maybe one of the American biker build off cruiser bikes --- lol !! Thats if im not too old to ride them .....

cheers

What i was trying to say is that u have listed all the bikes around.. so it would have been easier if u mentioned all indian bikes except the bullet 500cc.... Hey mate, no offense here.. I hope u havnt taken it seriously either......

But great man, u'v actually ridden them all....

Hi Veyron,
The Suzuki Supra (TVS- Suzuki) Supra was a failed model before the Shogun. TVS inherited the AX100, India's first Indo-Jap bike and kept working on it. So the bikes developed were AX100, AX100 R (With a battery!), Supra, Samurai, Shogun, Shaolin, MAX 100 and MAX 100 R, till the two strokers died a natural death.

As you can see, the AX 100, Shogun, Samurai did well, but the Supra, Shaolin were failures. I dont have a pic but I guess you dont really need one!!

Okay.

1998-2002 : RXZ (kicked ass, looked good, and then got beaten by a CBZ). Started for a new bike after the CBZ incident.
2002- : RX-135, 5-speed, rear tyre Yezdi, beats the CBZ, but gets beaten by the Pulsar 180. But I love her. Am looking to get disc brakes and change the tank, and tune it. Yeah. LOL
