Yes. I was also scanning for the same but I couldn’t see tubeless style spokes anywhere in any of the pics.

That Nardo grey looks lovely - specially with the blue combo.

Looks beautiful. Though I'm more interested in what property this is?
A perfect setting for the launch of a tourer. After all manali is the gateway to the legendary tour of India!

Edit: Found it. ITC welcome hotel manali. Beautiful property!

On conditions of anonymity, someone has divulged that the tubeless cross spoked wheels are being offered as an option. But definitely they are there.

The OG Himalayan is the motorcycle that made adventure touring accessible to the masses in our country, and the new iteration is continuing that legacy by giving the common man access to tech that only really expensive bikes have had. Of course, only time will tell about the other factors that can make or break a product. Fingers crossed

From someone who follows most launch events, including the global ones, I keep saying this again - RE truly is one of the best in the world when it comes to crafting launch events.

And this Himalayan launch is proving to be one of the best examples of this!

The Black and yellow looks similar to the Kawasaki Z900RS and looks smashing. If all that 40hp comes with J series level of refinement, the Honda CB500x is going to be dead on arrival.

I absolutely agree with the both of you. I cannot recall the last time that there was such a well calibrated and smoothly oiled machine behind the arrival of any motorcycle, either on a national or global level. And the best part is that we still have a few days to go before the big launch event! They truly are masters of this craft.

Royal Enfield has a dedicated site for this final test series.

re: 2023 Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 | Now officially revealed

So I did some information scraping and the names of the colours are:
1. Kamet White
2. Hanle Black
3. Kaza Brown
4. Slate Himalayan Salt

The name of the bike is likely to be just Himalayan and the unloaded weight is 196kg.

There is a fifth shade too and that's probably called Pangong Blue.

Sharing photograph of all five shades on offer.

Quite possible, couldn't get any info on it. Doesn't seem to be present at the launch either. Didn't spot it in any of the media videos.

Somehow I cannot shake the feeling looking at the photos, as well as the itchy boot videos that the bike looks like the new bigger Impulse (Xpulse?). Its admittedly personal taste, but a rectangular headlight would have made the design really stand out.

Cheers, Doc

To me it looks like a descaled Husquarna Norden. We all knew it was going to be torquey. I need to know its weight. That's going to be a deal breaker.

Poetry in motion, kudos to the team manning the drone, they have done a fantabolus job.

Map Integration, Music Integration, They have totally nailed it. Only thing electronics is Achilles boots for RE, hopefully with so much focus on testing this time, it will stand the test of the time.

I am so tempted to swap my interceptor with this, or get this home too.

re: 2023 Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 | Now officially revealed

It looks absolutely smashing. As many have said, RE has nailed it.

2 things that stood out:
1. The number of European staff RE has in key design and engineering positions. It's truly a global automotive company from India!
2. The number of foriegn auto journalists that turned up. Shows the global reach of RE!

Wonder how their 3 platforms will shape up:
- 350cc J series (Bullet, Classic, Hunter, Meteor)
- 450cc J series (Himalayan 450, Roadster 450?, Scrambler 450?)
- 650cc (Interceptor, Super Meteor, Classic 650?, Scram 650?)

Truly something for everyone!

Does anyone know if RE is working on a higher capacity twin cylinder engine?

re: 2023 Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 | Now officially revealed

There is a bike fitted with an accessory ‘rally’ style single seat and the cross-spoke wheels.

2023 Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 | Now officially revealed-img_2249.jpeg
Here’s the photo of the bike.

Hoping that there are some actually usable accessories on offer. Different windscreens, proper bash plates, good luggage options, potentially lighter/performance exhausts, these cross-spoke wheels, and more..

Additionally, in this video, at the 3:35 min mark, there’s a direct mention of an adjustable rider’s seat.

I also think that this thread can be renamed now. it's not a 'rumour' anymore.
