Something is wrong somewhere, is the booking done online? I have booked the bike through the nearest dealer on 31st Dec and I received the quote of introductory prices, whether they stick to this pricing during delivery or not is a different story.

Did they remove the rear panel? If yes, how easy is it? Initially I chose not to do the rear, but now I am having second thoughts

I hate to say it, but the new prices make much more sense for a bike this good. 2.8+ for all, and 2.93 for the Hanle Black.

This is basically useless unless you are going for a rally raid setup. All of those 'removable parts' like the luggage rack, center stand, mirrors, rear foot pegs are what makes an ADV like H450 a practical motorcycle. The only realistic part that can be removed is the saree guard . It is probably better to leave the bike as is and get used to the weight.

This actually could be what would happen to a potential Scram 450 though. Other than the rear pegs, chain guard and the fenders, a Scram would have all of these, plus I'd say a smaller tank, lighter, single-piece seat, no big mount for the screen, no windshield, and so on. Could be a solid 10 kilos lighter, that's right up there with the Scrambler 400x in terms of weight.

Does anyone else have this issue on their bike?
I don’t have this issue, I physically inspected mine and the gap is even.

That alleviates my worries a bit, I called the guy there but no response at the moment.

I booked it during the day time only and even got the booking receipt with the intro 2.84 lakh price. Will shoot an email if the Dealer does not budge. Funny thing is that the amount on the app (against the booking) is still showing the intro price.

They should stick to the intro price and offer protection against hikes otherwise what's the point of booking during the intro period.

My only dilemma was whether to wait for tubeless tyres but the Dealer said the booking can be cancelled and re-booked with that variant in case it comes before the bike does. Let's see...

HSR Enterprises in Rajajinagar only received three accessory items - radiator guard, top case plate and handlebar pad.

I also visited Kwality Mobikes Pvt Ltd, Kanakapura Main Road, Yelachenahalli and the staff there confirmed that no accessories were available with them.

Brand store hasn't yet received it - as per what I came to know. Other dealers, not sure.

There are two types - one is Rally protection which has a sump guard but lesser, more compact protection to the engine. The other is engine guard which will extend little more like regular crash guards which come for other REs.

Mod Note: Our Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Review has been taken live at this link. Please continue the discussion over on the new thread. Thanks!
