Yezdi Forever revealed three bikes - Roadster, Adventure and Scrambler.



And here are the starting prices for all 3 yezdi models.
The Roadster is priced between Rs 1.98 lakh and Rs 2.06 lakh.
The Scrambler costs between Rs 2.05 lakh and Rs 2.11 lakh, and
The Adventure is priced from Rs 2.10 lakh to Rs 2.19 lakh (all prices ex-showroom)







All three models are powered by a 334cc, single-cylinder, DOHC, liquid-cooled engine, but each gets it in a different state of tune, with slightly varying power and torque figures.

Well, looks like yezdi have the first mover advantage on the Scrambler. They had mentioned that the scrambler has a flat torque curve and the adventure has a rising curve.

Still feel that the cruiser should've looked like a Xerox copy of the old Yezdi with the new engine. That would've been something.

Competitive pricing - I was expecting the pricing to be higher for all 3 by atleast 25k. The Roadster at 1.99, the Scrambler at 2.04 and the Adventure at 2.09 are all really well priced.

I am planning on visiting the dealership this weekend to look at the Scrambler. I have no intentions of buying one but I've always loved the Ducati Scrambler / Triumph Scrambler for their looks - although their pricing and expensive spares kept me away.

The Yezdi Scrambler would complement my road-touring D390 and the Onroad-offroad Himalayan perfectly.

As a RE owner - one thing which pleases me with this launch is the availability of more options in terms of bolt-on touring accessories for the Himalayan as well as more options of Tyres (if they are indeed the same size as the Himalayan). Fingers crossed

So market is getting a 30+ bhp Adventure at the price of a 25+ bhp 250 cc Jap sports bike (Gixxer 250 SF).

Not bad.

Looking forward to the weight, power, torque, suspension travel and ground clearance now ... in that order.

They should have introduced a new engine with the Yezdi instead of the same Mojo engine on all the variants of Yezdi/Jawa now.

Reminds me of the Enfield pre-2000 and the cast iron 350 engine on all their models. Atleast they had a 500 version of the same mainly for export and introduced the same in the domestic market later.

The scrambler and adventure bikes look amazing, especially the adventure in the desert camo. Too bad about the 180+ kg weight. But atleast better than any RE.

Why fix something that's not broken? That engine is probably the saving grace one these bikes considering classic legends's apparent build quality.

Classic Legends, part of the Mahindra Group, and parent company of Jawa Motorcycles, has resurrected the Yezdi brand, introducing three new models under the Yezdi name. The Yezdi Adventure, Scrambler and Roadster will be sold alongside the Jawa Motorcycles from the same dealerships. Prices for the Yezdi range start at ₹ 1.98 lakh starting with the Yezdi Roadster, going up to ₹ 2.19 lakh for the range-topping variant of the Yezdi Adventure. All three bikes are built on a dual cradle chassis and the 334 cc engine but they've been tweaked individually on each motorcycle to suit the purpose-built character of each model.

It would add more options and variety for the buyers. Just like how RE has a different engine on the Himalayan and not the UCE 350, when the Himalayan was launched.

I did notice these are 334cc engines compared to the 293cc of the Jawa and 42 and the reason for 2-3 bhp increase.

Was not expecting much but I like them, quite a lot, apparently they seem to have put in genuine effort in designing and differentiating these distinct bikes, add to the fact that they produce substantially more power (in the retro segment) than the larger 350cc latest generation RE engine, Honda CB350 (this is the biggest sin in my books, did not expect this from Honda) and even the 400+ cc Himalyan.
I'am not saying all this should translate to them great bikes or them selling well, that is altogether a different story, just that the effort seems to be decent.

Yezdi returns with Adventure, Scrambler and Roadster models

Classic Legends has announced the return of the iconic Yezdi brand with the launch of three new models - Adventure, Scrambler and Roadster.



The Yezdi Adventure is priced from Rs. 2,09,900. Prices for the Scrambler start at Rs. 2,04,900, while the Roadster range starts at Rs. 1,98,142 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bikes will be available across all Classic Legends dealerships that retail Jawa Motorcycles in India. Customers can also book online on the Yezdi website. The booking amount is Rs. 5,500.

Yezdi Adventure:

The Adventure features a high placed mudguard and knuckle guards. It gets a chassis-mounted front cage, mounting points and hooks for carrying luggage or panniers.

The bike comes equipped with long-travel telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. It features an LCD instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and a USB charger.

The Adventure is powered by a 334cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 30 BHP @ 8,000 rpm and 29.9 Nm @ 6,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission. There are three riding modes to choose from - Road, Rain and Off-road.

The Adventure is available in three colour options: Slick Silver, Mambo Black and Ranger Camo.

Yezdi Scrambler:

The Scrambler features a round tank and an offset speedometer pod. It has a tucked-in headlamp, a front fender beak, raised handlebar and typical scrambler twin exhausts.

The Scrambler is powered by a 334cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 29 BHP @ 8,000 rpm and 28.2 Nm @ 6,750 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission and gets three riding modes, just like the Adventure.

The Scrambler is available in six colour options - Fire Orange, Yelling Yellow, Outlaw Olive, Rebel Red, Mean Green and Midnight Blue (dual tone).

Yezdi Roadster:

The Roadster comes with a split seat and a compact headlamp at the front. The bike rides on alloy wheels and features chopped fenders.

The bike is powered by the same 334cc, single-cylinder engine that is tuned to produce 29 BHP @ 7,300 rpm and 29 Nm @ 6,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission. All three models come equipped with dual-channel ABS.

The Roadster is available in five colour options - Roadster Dark - Smoke Grey, Roadster Dark - Steel Blue, Roadster Dark Hunter Green, Roadster Chrome - Gallant Grey and Roadster Chrome - Sin Silver.
