@ the trooper .. i'm praying to God that that's sarcasm .. and if i'm right .. heh heh you're right in my vein
@ vamsi .. that is the most awsomely original RD 350 i have seen in years. it looks like you just rolled it out of an Escorts showroom .. and i must say there's something about the original Rajdoot stickering that i love, (I know i'm gona get clobbered here), no really, maybe it takes me back to when they were launched and i used to drool over them. i always dreamed of owning one ... sigh .....
by the way vamsi .. do you still live in HYD ?

I apologies to all if i said something wrong and hurt anyone by any chance,
As being a RD owner that is obvious,
Her goes the Yam with original goodies.

Amazing bike vamsi..

But why is the rear tail mounting of the Yezdi? And I think the tail light is from a Bull.

Can I ask why? If u look around it ain't hard to find a RD tailsection. Ir you cam get it made.

P.S. I dont think RX indicators cost 2k. I purchsed 4 for Rs. 220. I own an '83 LT which has compression ratio issues. Running 1st oversize pistons but looking to rebulid the engine as well. Need new exhausts also.

Hi Turbo PM me ill let you know from where to get geniune parts for RD and resolving all bike related stuff..
I am talking about RD indicators with metal base unit not RX.Check the pics posted by me and decide.

Hey Turbo.I think u didn't see a original Rd350.

Nice bikes, guys.

I have a question: What's a good front-rear rubber combination? Without having to change wheels or swingarm or anything, that is.

When I had an RD, it was running MRF Nylogrip 3.00x18 which was later changed to a Michelin of the same size. The rear I think was 3.75x18 Nylogrip. The worst mod is a 100/90-18 because it reduces the overall height by half an inch in the rear or so what my mech in those days told me. But the MRF's exhibit lovely grip on the RD.

I hear good things about some Pirellis, the Sport Demons or something. But I want to be sure.

Nice Bikes.. If only RDs were easy to maintain. Such a hassle to get parts and its not a easy bike to push.
I know guys lil bit of sour grapes in there

But seriously Awesome bikes featured on this thread.

Ajay, we all know you're an enthusiast too. and you are just sharing your enthusiasm. so dont embaress us by apologising.

The indicator lens on Kunal's bike are that of the RX series. (if u dont agree, please, let's leave it at that. Let's just say "I" am bit of a 'frog in the well'.)

but seriuosly, unless there is an audiance that cares about stuff like this, let's not waste other people's time and look like idiots discussing this stuff in detail.

:)
I like the Rajdoot stickering too.

how on earth do u edit spelling mistakes?

By the time Pirelli's were in the market my bike (actually my elder brothers bike) was sold :). Check if it reduces the height after considering the profile. The tyres are good but dont last much since they are softer compound. Same as the Michelin M45 I used.

Pirelli's are heavier than Michelins and also cost almost a grand more..
