According to the company, the investment will be towards electrification, cutting edge technology, world-class vehicles, manufacturing, sustainability & the future of mobility. This is expected to create 250-300 direct jobs over the next 3 years and another 500-800 indirect jobs across the supply chain.

Norton is gearing up to launch the re-engineered V4 SSV and 961 Commando models. The bike maker also plans to introduce a range of products for the global market.

TVS acquired the iconic British motorcycle maker in April 2020. The company has recently opened its new manufacturing facility in Solihull, West Midlands.

This is interesting. The news comes when the British PM Boris Johnson is in India. He mentioned that TVS owns Norton and will be investing it the revival.

In his press address just an hour back, he coined a term "BRINDIAN" which means :-

1) A company that is owned by India but has manufacturing in UK, eg- JLR &
2) A company that is owned by Britain but has manufacturing in India, eg - JCB

I am excited to see legendary brands being re-born.

This is BIG, TVS is on a shopping spree in Europe, is going to go all guns blazing into the EV eco system, Plus is readying newer markets for itself. Would love to see Indian brands prosper Globally.
