Royal Enfield has launched the updated Himalayan priced at Rs. 2,15,900 (ex-showroom, Chennai). The ADV gets a few minor updates and is now available in six colour options.



In addition to Gravel Grey, Pine Green and Granite Black, the Himalayan is now offered in Dune Brown, Glacier Blue and Sleet Black colours. The Lake Blue, Rock Red, and Mirage Silver colours have been discontinued.

Besides the new colour palette, the Himalayan also gets a debossed logo on the grille and side panels. Crucially, the bike now comes equipped with a USB charging port.

The Himalayan continues to use the same 411cc, single-cylinder engine as before. It produces 24.3 BHP and 32 Nm and is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.

I hope that the USB Charger is a module and is not integrated into the plastic. That way even previous himalayans can get it fitted at SVCs
