No updates. I spoke with a someone on Saturday who said i should get the bike by 15th. I repeatedly asked for an actual date but they didn't confirm.

I'm spending time going through the user manual and other documentation

I'd see this a different way. I have been for test rides at Honda BigWing, KTM, TVS and RE dealerships and none of them care about safety. They dont need you to wear helmets either, at least here in Pune. You can test ride in whatever you like.

Only Triumph required test riders to wear helmets, to the extent that they provided high quality helmets with disposable skullcaps to every one who came for the TR. I think they want to maintain the culture of "safety first" because of which the recommend jeans and shoes instead of shorts and chappals. At least they are trying to and I respect that. I really don't think they're doing it to hide any heat or vibrations.

If you tell me Keerthi Bengaluru cares about riders or their rides I would beg to differ. And Triumph has been mum about every complaint

I knew Red is the color that’s got maximum traction but didn’t realise its to such a high percentage.
I'd gotten the message for this community ride that Shaman Triumph had organized, but couldn't go because I'm still waiting for my delivery (hopefully soon).

I noticed in your photos and also from the photos they posted on SM that some if the Speed 400s in this ride had red number plates. I wonder if these belonged to the owners who had taken delivery but haven't received their plates yet, or were these bikes that the showroom had provided for the ride? If it's the latter, I hope my bike wasn't given to someone for the ride.

I don't think that the dealership would take the risk of damaging the bike and not even being able to claim insurance, apart from suffering immense damage to its reputation.

Appreciate for posting this on the Forum.

I was part of the first 10K customers too and got a notification a few days ago from Keerthi Triumph that the bike has been allotted. I paid in full on 4th Sept and was promised delivery in 15 working days. My SA was Tarun. Its a hit or miss when i try reaching him on his phone or the landline. The last update on 9th Sept was that due to a software glitch the invoice is not being generated. I have decided to go with Acko for insurance as the difference is around 4K with Keerthi's pref vendor. I have had worse experience with RE when i had booked my INT650 when it was launched in 2019 and eventually canceled my booking. Comparatively, i feel the folks at Keerthi are much transparent. I am really excited to get my bike though

I honestly cannot imagine how much worse this could be

SA Tarun is probably one of three good dudes at Keerthi. Even when he didn't receive my call, he made it a point to call me back and update.
It's a shame the others don't seem to be as courteous (Looking at you, SA Ravi).

I don't think this is a Keerthi thing. It's mandatory across all Triumph dealerships. It's good Triumph is pushing customers towards safe riding culture. Hope they have workshops too.

To my understanding, it will come in 2025. Do you have any link, etc., to suggest that something is on its way in 2024? Or are you referring to 2024 Duke?

I seriously doubt that they would do something like that. Could have let out a few of their official test ride bikes I guess. I can’t see any reason why they’d give customer allotted bikes for joy rides. Its not a risk worth taking to my mind.

That makes sense. I ended up calling Shaman and I'm told my bike hasn't arrived at the showroom yet. Here's hoping I get to join the next ride that's planned, either by them or the community.

Yes was referring to 2024 Duke. And it's released in India today. Looks like a hell lot of valune for money. And bookings have started with the delivery timelines claimed to be within next month.

I completely agree with you. I made the full payment today and it was handled by Tarun. He has been very helpful during my previous visits for test riding their triple cylinder options as well as during my test ride on a very busy Saturday afternoon.

I am currently waiting for the receipt/invoice/acknowledgement for the payment. The delivery will take 15 days like everyone else mentioned.

Now starts the worst part....waiting desperately for the bike to be delivered.

Reaching out to Keerthi Triumph is a challenge. I had received a call from the showroom asking for full payment 2 weeks back. I was trying to call the person for the last 2 days but could not get any response. I had also tried their number registered on Google but that also did not work. I got to know today that the person i was trying to reach out to, had quit the dealership.

SA Vignesh is also cool. He handled my whole payment process. Looking forward for the delivery. Still no updates.
