The Xtreme 200S 4V looks similar to the 2-valve variant. It has a dual-tone fairing with a wraparound headlamp up front, clip-on handlebars and a digital instrument console offering Bluetooth connectivity.

The Xtreme 200S 4V is powered by a 200cc, single-cylinder engine which now features a 4-valve head. It develops 18.8 BHP @ 8,000 rpm and 17.35 Nm @ 6,500 rpm and is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.

The bike is equipped with a conventional telescopic fork and a 7-step adjustable mono-shock at the rear. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels and features disc brakes at both ends.

The 2023 Xtreme 200S 4V is available in three colours: Moon Yellow, Panther Black Metallic, and Stealth Edition.

Re: Hero Xtreme 200S 4V launched at Rs 1.41 lakh

Xpulse 200 4V was launched in July 2022.

With the same engine, Xpulse 200T 4V was launched in end Dec 2022.

Now they have launched Xtreme 200 4V again with same engine in July 23.

Three products with same engine in (almost) same state of tune took one year to complete the launch of the entire line.

Seems Hero is following footsteps of Royal Enfield...

You are right. The Rally Edition was launched in July 2022.

But that goes on to make the situation ever a grimmer one.

Re: Hero Xtreme 200S 4V launched at Rs 1.41 lakh

This new yellow colour does look good. But Hero delayed this too much. Should have launched all 3 (xpulse, 200T & 200s) 4v models together.

And this gets only new colours and clip-one. No USD forks, no dual channel ABS and not even LED indicators. The 160r 4v USD forks and LED parts could have been used.

On paper this now has slightly more power than the segment leading R15, but lacks on the dual ABS, TC, Aluminium swingarm, 6th gear, USD forks. The digital console with navigation is the only feature over the R15. This is cheaper than the R15, but the 200s was ~1.15L in 2020, and now 1.41L for minor updates. R15 got more and more expensive (v3, v4, M etc) but they kept adding features, which is why people buy it even thought it is pricey for a 155cc.

Let's see how this sells, as I have hardly seen the 2v version on roads.

Re: Hero Xtreme 200S 4V launched at Rs 1.41 lakh

On price alone, this bike is priced squarely against the RTR200 4V and the Pulsar F250. One is loaded with features and the other is substantially more powerful.

With little brand recall against the aforementioned competitors, it is going to be an uphill battle for the Xtreme 200 4V with the odds stacked heavily against it.
