According to a media report, Royal Enfield plans to showcase a high-performance electric bike concept at EICMA 2023 in Milan, Italy.
As per the report, Royal Enfield’s latest electric bike concept is likely to be an ADV. It could be based on a new platform developed in collaboration with Stark Future.
Royal Enfield announced an investment into the Spain-based electric motorcycle brand last year, with an aim to co-develop new products and technologies. As part of the deal, Eicher Motors acquired a 10.35% stake in the company at a cost of Rs 439 crore.
It is believed that the new electric ADV concept could share its underpinnings with the Stark VARG, which is a dirt bike. It is available with either a 59 BHP or a 79 BHP electric motor and is powered by a 6.5 kWh battery.

Royal Enfield Himalayan EV test bed revealed at EICMA.
- Many components designed in-house
- Motor and controller are off-the-shelf parts
- Won't lead to a future Himalayan that looks like this, but could form the basis for a new EV
- The battery is a bespoke in-house design, and is engineered to be a structural member of the frame.
