Models like Pulsar, Dominar, Avenger, Platina and CT, priced between Rs 69,000 and Rs 2.31 lakh will be available on Flipkart. In the first phase, customers in 25 cities will be able to book Bajaj bikes on the e-commerce website.

Additionally, the company has rolled out special launch offers for those booking online. These include a discount of Rs 5,000 and 12-month no-cost EMI and card offers.

According to Bajaj, the partnership with Flipkart will make the purchase experience quicker and simpler for customers.

Re: Bajaj motorcycles are now available on Flipkart

IMHO would it not be easier to overhaul the Non retail channel which can then link to a retail channel( in this case book online and get to a nearby showroom) . The control will stay within the brand. But with this , a famously unreliable partner is being roped in as middleware. If i want cancellation, i know Flipkart customer care is a joke and getting a dealer response is another headache

Re: Bajaj motorcycles are now available on Flipkart

Six years ago, after watching TV ad, my 5 year old kid (then) asked me - Buy "KUV 100" from Amazon.

Little did I know that e-commerce will change the buying pattern of individuals.

Fast forward to now, this is true. Future of Auto sales is omnichannel.

Tata Neu (super app from house of Tata) is yet to onboard Tata Motors vehicles, but I am sure they must be planning to do in near future.

Since this is the second most expensive product a person buy in their lifetime (first being house), buyer will want to have driving experience (by way of test drive) before signing on the dotted lines.

Car manufacturer will have to design appropriate sales cycle fulfilling the needs of customer.
