Love it! (Especially in Black)
Not a fan of the way they are advertising the torque figure (but "at the rear wheel")
Have been seeing Surron videos on Youtube for ages, and have always dreamed of something like this for Goa. More my style than an Ather or Ola!
(Also if you compare Surron prices ~$4000 to this, it seems like a great deal!)
I'm seeing it as more of an "electric Xpulse".
Took me quite a while to realise the "Too Stoked" tagline was a play on "2-stroke". Pointing it out for the other slow-pokes.

Thanks to this post of yours popping up on my Discover feed, I decided to just pre-book as well. (Plus, apart from earlier allocation, 1k now for a 25k discount seems like a great deal).

I think this is going to be the "
Compact SUV" of Enduro bikes.... which would be a smart move on the part of Ultraviolette.
It will probably look like a bit of a toy next to a real dirt bike. Like parking an Jimny next to a Fortuner.

Wow! Thanks for the pics... the prototype looks very promising.

I have this fear every time I ride a scooter (since I ride a motorbike 99% of the time)... but it's never caused an issue.
Also being electric, you wont have the same ques prompting you to upshift (ie. exhaust note & engine noise/vibration) -- so I think we'll be okay!

What's the correct term for that, and what does it do? Protect the disc from small stones jamming it up?

Hmm... it's another thing that seems questionable in pictures, but I don't think it would be a noticeable issue in the real world. I mean, people spend hours on bicycle seats.
What took me by pleasant surprise was the fact that there is a version which is
pillion friendly! (Note the additional foot pegs too):

Awesome! That's good to hear.
Since I was very concerned about seat-height too (being 5'9" and having some Xpulse Rally/Pro trauma

) I ran through a similar exercise.
Points to note:
- Downloaded the max-res version image from the UV website source, just to be as accurate as possible
- I cross-checked optically measured 17/19" wheel sizes against each other to ensure accuracy (result... somehow not very accurate, but whatever)
- I rotated the bike, rather than simply subtracting the paddock-stand height (splitting hairs - but technically the seat is in the middle of a lever with the front wheel as the fulcrum)
- I measured the seat at 2 points: The lowest point and the realistic point (I guess bike seats are usually measured at the highest point? But not sure for these banana seats!)
Seems doable!
