A friend of mine wants to buy a bike. His budget is around Rs.40,000. He wants a economy bike and is looking at Wind 125, Caliber Croma, or a second hand Pulsar-150. Victor is not an option.

Any suggestions guys?

Hmmm...I think the Wind 125 is his best choice. It seems though from his choices that he wants a Bajaj only.

After experienceing bajaj quality and service with my Pulsar, I would not really recommend them. HHonda qulaity is far better, but not sure about their service.

For a wider opinion, as I don't think there are too many bikers in this forum, post this question on www.xbhp.com

ciao!

Better to advice your friend thathe should see the actual bike and seat on it to feel which one is more comfortable for him. Then he can consider the product support of the manufacturer if it is readily available.

You just replied to a 4 year old thread. That guy must have bought the bike and sold it by now .
