I am disappointed!! I think Bajaj has done a fairly good job in pricing it. But being a family man I cannot spend so much on an indulgence.

I have set my eyes on Bullet 500 EFI now. I do not have to worry about ground clearance while tacking bangalore humps and save some money too.

Do they Import the Shine? If they did I am sure it would have costed much more than what it costs here right now.

I couldn't find Shine on Honda's Uk site But if it does sell for 2000 pounds then I am glad that We arent the only ones ripped by Honda

Deep, the Comet was at 1.9 on road. It was surely VFM but people did cry overpriced song at that time as well.

This bike has much more than the comet.

I am sorry not Shine but the CBF Stunner, for 2090 Pounds on road. I just wanted you to note that European prices should not be indicative of the Indian prices.

Had a look at the Comet and was shocked by the sub-standard quality. The pricing is indicative of the quality in this case.

Yes I agree, I only quoted EU price as many people said that it cost same or less in other countries, that's all.

i hope TVS launches something in 250cc like the one they showcased in the auto expo a a4 cylinder 250 cc , 6 speed . Bajaj has crashed my hopes as just for 250 cc i will not spend this money .Also since SKD/CKD is the way , the spares will also be expensive too.
I have a strong feeling Yamaha is doing a wait and watch policy.

Sigh! I'm reminded of the following quote:
'All desirable things in life are either fattening, banned or married to someone else.'
Add expensive to that.

Overpriced crotch rocket. On-road Bangalore prices would be terrible. Going back to listening to Shattered Dreams...

I can not understand how people can say its overpriced and then commend Bajaj on the pricing in the same breath.

*pissed off*

All my dreams shattered. Stupid BAL.

I think majorly because it is not totally out of reach. 3+ ex-showroom would have been a disaster. Yes for people like me who are overly optimistic, read 2.2L ex - sh. what you said is right.

Overpriced or not, I am glad that they have launched it here. This will surely trigger the competition to launch more such products. I hope TVS is one amongst them, too.

Moreover, there are already reports of Bajaj, with KTM, developing new bikes.I am sure Bajaj will make them more affordable. So definitely there will be a option for everybody, soon.

@Pervez

Absolutely agree man. I was going to definitely book one had it been 2.5 OTR. 3 is just way too over the top.
