hi ..

i own a bajaj caliber 115... can anybody lemme know how much mileage this bie usully gives ?
its been only one year since i've bought.... and around 6500 km run... and now gettin around 60 km/L.. is that good enuf ??

60Kmpl is really the best you can hope for and its pretty darn good if you ask me. Dor comparisions sake, I get 32-35Kmpl with my 180 Pulsar. Ofcourse I ride the hell outa it, so i'm not complaining. I know of people who get 45kmpl form 180's!

How about posting a review on your bike in the T-BHP review section.

well but .. it once used to give me around 70 to 73 km/L...
also have 2 friends who still gets the same...
it all started when i took it for a few weeks in 80km/hr.. now have reduced the speed a lot, but not attaining the mileage..

hey autoslave,
if u keep a limit of 60 kph with proper tire pressures u shud get 65-70kpl.
anything more than 60kph will give u lesser FE figures.
stick to ur service intervals and ur bike shud serve u well.
most people seem to forget it but remember to check ur chain slackness every 500-600kms.if its loose or too tight ,u will get poorer figures .
if possible clean ur air filter every 1000kms.i used to clean it every 15 days with Surf

adn then keep it for drying in the night .then soak it with a little engine oil .this will also help.chnage ur plugs verey 5K kms.

well, 60 is a v good figure.... n limiting ur speed in the "GREEN" area wil certainly improve those figures :P

I own a Caliber 115. My figures are as follows:

Total mileage to-date: 24250kms
Daily run: 55-80kms
Best Mileage: 68.1kmpl
Worst Mileage: 52.2 kmpl

Bike is regularly serviced at 2500kms interval.

I suggest you get your carb cleaned and set by a good mechanic. Don't trust Bajaj Service. They will usually mess up.

my best mileage is 73. and the worst is 55.
hmm.. gotta teke it for another service... now relyin on the free service....
