The Karizma baby...Would rather prefer waiting for it rather than have a budget restriction and going in for the Pulsar 180 v1/v2...

Best Bike : YAMAHA RD350

The Best Bike Ever Built in India was / is YAMAHA RD350.

Nothing else can ever match it .. not in terms of just the power/pickup, but the technology that was put into it way back in 1974 when it was first built ....

Yezdi 250 was my favourite.
Changed the handlebars to the old Jawa ones, raised the rear mudgaurd slightly, changed the headlight to a Lucas beam, changed the accelarator twist assembly, fit new mufflers after punching out the mesh, painted the tank black, re-chromed everything....man. Just sitting on the bike idling the engine used to make my day.
But....every week, atleast 2 hours had to spent with Shafeeq, my mechanic in Koti, Hyderabad, to make the bike sing flawlessly.
Had it for 6 years. Had to sell it after being caught by the cops and failing the spot pollution check 3 times.
Bought a HH Splendour.
Have a 2003 180 Pulsar now, but still miss my Yezdi.
Todays bikes, my vote is for the 180 Pulsar.

RD 350 for sure, but is forgotten now...

I agree with @junkishya; RD 350 was one terrific bike. I had one for three years but had to sell it as parts were getting difficult to procure.

Tremendous power, wonderful handling and the engine note was music.

I once did 130 kph on the Hyderabad- Bangalore Road (on our way back from Nandi Hills) and it was one of the best rides of my life!!!!

Haaahh.... those were the days.....

Hi friends!!

My vote is for Pulsar180!!.
Wait... but not for the latest black edition.(even I own new black edition)

For initials black edition is superb even it can beat zma without much efforts.
For top end: Credit goes to pulsar classic or pulsar 2004 model.those r lethal weopons friends! Since early I had pulsar classic that is why I know that todays model cannot even touch the performence of pulsar classic.
It is not so that they have degarded quality , actually they have make 180 a more refined engine which is better tuned for great pickups , also put a limilter so u cannot cross 10-10.5 rpm at any cost except doing some cdi programming which is dengerous to touch even.

Well, I'd say the Karizma and P180. Man, this is so sad! I can't believe I'm actually choosing between these bikes. I pity us all, atleast those of us who haven't made it to the SBKs yet. My mood levels drop with every ride on these bikes. These bikes feel reasonably quick or fast in the residential streets but it just lacks loads even on roads like airport road(Bangalore)! A real pity! :(
