Iam not sure whether the Unicorn will takeover the pulsar which is currently the king of 150cc. I am gonna buy a bike but can't decide which one among these two because I believe Honda's bike will be good.

I think it eventually will. But its not going to be a cake walk for Honda like it happened in the un geared segement where it managed to pull the plug on models from Bajaj ( Rememeber bajaj Sapphire). Bajaj this time around has got a good preduct to compete with but might lose out on the service front.

even , Bajaj is coming out with a revamped Pulsar by the start of next year.
its not gonna be a easy task for HOnda.
Pulsar is a established player , hence it has a edge .
Honda is Honda, where ppl have blind trust, and Honda has never let any1 down.so even it has an edge.
Its gonna be a real bull fight between the two.

I have heard from a handful of Pulsar owners and they dont seem to be too happy with the product quality or the after sales received. Plus, Honda already has the pulsar beaten in the all too important mileage factor. Its a highly respected brand in India, with acceptance spreading across all income levels.

I think Hondas going to get this one right too.

I can't quite say it'll take over or not. It all depends on how the product is backed up, by the after sales service, the product itself on the long run etc.
It's going to give a real tough fight to the Pulsar.

Well, if it were my money, i would buy the Honda over the Pulsar 150. I would even chose it over the 180 Pulsar only because Bajaj quality is that bad.

However, Bajaj is really spicing up their products with mag wheels etc, so it is gonna be a tough fight this time for Honda.

Its not gonna be en easy task for Honda to take over Bajaj. If Bajaj spares are cheap, Honda's quality is good. Also Bajaj has DTSi (2 spark plugs a first for Indian bikes), Honda has monoshock rears (also a first in India). Also knowing Honda, one thing is sure that the Unicorns mileage wil be far better than the P150. It'll be a tough fight between the Unicorn and the 150/180. And its time to say Goodbye to the CBZ.

If priced correctly, the Unicorn will surely take the throne away from the Pulsar.
If it were my money, the choice is clear - Honda!

P.S. I still love the CBZ more than any Indo-Jap bike in India.

guys no matter how many plugs bajaj gives on its bikes ,the quality of the bike will yell--"b a j a j". .
teh 180 was good but have heard that the gear shift has some problem.did not face any problems when i rode it .but 2 of my friends have sold it and one has bought the karizma while the other is looking for an aquila or the comet.

the unicorn shud be a winner .also its the first bike with monoshock,so obviously the handling shud be better than others.

my frnds tell me that the Pulsar DTS' come with more probs than the previous generation pulsars.
Plus we all know about Honda's quality in cars as well as the activa and that other thing they launched after it. Honda's good in quality and reliability
