Yet another 150??? What happens to the Xtreme now?

And I think the tank size is seen as bigger because of those extra P200-style flanks (I dont know what to call them) at the ends. They are too fat.

What exactly have they changed in the engine? Anyone with further details?

Will wait to see it in real and test ride one before commenting further. So far, nothing to even touch the RTR's combination of 12,000 RPM and racer looks.

HH always think Indians are fools to accept cosmetic changes in the existing bikes for years to go, all Indians who are tech savy better boycott these age old bikes which are nothing but JUNK.

There's nothing special about this bike. Just another 150CC bike. If it had the faring and the dual headlamps, it would have been nice.
But as they say, 'darling yeh hai India'

Yeah.. i think this is Hero Honda's way of accepting that the CBZ Xtreme was not as big a success that they thought it would be.
So instead of modifying the recently launched CBZ, they launched
"THE HUNK"
Way to go Hero Honda.

But jokes apart IMO the bike atleast looks better than CBZ Xtreme.

When they realised 'achiever' didnt click, they brought out XTreme.

Yes the achiever didnt click coz didnt had any kinds of boxy looks,
to compete with its competitors,

But to me extreme did well the bike has a good muscular styling, superb handling at high speeds, a nice riding position
a 0-60 in 5.2secs 14.2bhp and a decent FE
leaving out rtr - 160
which bike can compete the Xtreme?

How can one say Xtreme didnt do well ?

( no offence meant to anyone guyz)

Why did HH release the hunk with lesser price then the xtreme ?
i think HH is burning there own backs by doing this, they have planted the same xtreme engine on the hunk, what's new in it only the styling if some thing goes wrong hunk will be junk, lets wait and see

no offense here but this bike feels like the himesh reshmiya's remixed songs, its a mixture of Cbz-Xtreme, Apache,Karizma, glamour('s tank),achiever('s headlamp)pulsar(for the shocks and tail)!

It is about time Hero Honda started thinking of upgrading the Karizma. I have the bike and absolutely love it. But I guess with the Pulsars coming in the time has come to up the ante and launch the Karizma with increased power and probably a bigger engine. Else they may miss teh power bikes bus.

launches in teh 150 cc are becoming so common. And is the CBZ X being discontinued or somethign? else HH will have the models cannabalizing the sales.

Also IMHO not a great looker this bike :(

Bike is good. I think people expected too much out of the CBZ successor!

The HUNK comes with a 35/35W headlight only. Wish they could upgrade it to 55/60W atleast!

I dont think the cbz x will be pulled out of market
@PRAJEEP try this :-
CBZ Xtreme - Live Extreme

The '/' at the end makes it unavailable, some error on HH website.

More pics and Technical info for the Hunk :-

Confused Programmer: Hero Honda Hunk 150cc finally launched at 55,000

i still dont understand why HH is ruining the vale for its bikes by launching a new model every forth night like the bajaj and the tvs, now even the hh bike will start suffering the resale value like its competitors and the value is all gone i guess!

at least if they had launched a 170+cc version of bike thats more powerful or twins like the 150 and the 180 pulsars with the hunk model and also with some advancements like monoshock digital speedo and other upgrades then the market would have boomed and the xtreme could have been pulled out and there would have been a chance for boom!
