NOS - New Old Stock. These are parts made years back when the model was running, but never sold. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_old_stock

Reviving an old thread : Can anyone throw some light on the Luna Magnum model? Does it require RTO registration? I remember that the Mofa and Luna Wings did not require registration or license but not sure about the Magnum. Any info will be appreciated.

I owned one back in the mid 80's, the other mopeds available then were the TVS 50 (which I also subsequently owned), the Suvega and the Hero Majestic. All these required RTO registration by the way.
