i was only saying that the indian version are detuned and the model i mentioned was air cooled too. take a look at the image

depends on why the company is getting the bike here. . .they are detuned to give more mileage. yamaha is clear that they want to give a performance oriented bikes.

I know it will be powerful. But how powerful? Any OFFICIAL confirmation on that?

What is doing the rounds (20/22/24 bhp) is speculation IMHO.

hay dudes what do you think i think the silencer of r15 is too big in comparison to the fz150cc and the back mudflap not of the sporty version what do you think ?

if 2008 Yamaha YZF-R125 of yamaha can have it why can't yamaha r 15 can get the sporty look from the back it will add to the charm of the bike a proper complete sports look

Yamaha has launched R15:it wiil be available in market from this winters.
Its main Features are
  • 150cc liquid cooled engine
  • 6 geared Gear Box
  • 2 cylinder, 4 Valves per cylinder
  • Fuel Injection
  • Link Type" Monoshock rear Suspension
  • Front and Rear Disc Brakes
  • Deltabox frame
  • Bharat 4 emissions standard
  • multi-reflector headlight design in the YZF-R series image

Thats news and what would be the price.A mini r1 for the masses ,lol.Yamaha need to be really aggressive to get back the lost ground.

Well, it was shown at Auto-Expo and has been awaited since. Price should be close to 1L - as it is is speculated. Earlier launch date was June 2008 - the features are not yet confirmed I beleive (including BHP figures). Let's see.

Yes it is a single cylinder machine.
But most importantly Power and price details are still not disclosed.
