Its truely one of the most reliable bikes around.Though just 250cc,its got a lot of punch in its pick up. Effortless cruising at 70+mph.

The new one looks awesome for a 250. I wish Kawasaki had continued the ZXR 400 though.

2 or 3 lacs for this bike, no matter how good it is, is such a freakin' waste. If Bajaj can hope to make their own car one day, why the hell dont they just step up to making a decent high-performance motorcycle first? Saying there's low volumes is just not an excuse anymore in cash-rich India......

Speculation has been rife since ages about Bajaj testing a V-twin bike . Only Rajiv Bajaj and God know when this will reach production stage!

When are Bajaj showcasing their stuff in the Auto Expo?

The Ninja is a parallel twin like the RD 350, not a V-twin.

After TATA's one lakh car is realised all the bike makes should hang their heads in shame for charging so much money for 2 wheels.

Absolutely. Far as I can guess, these guys are making a killing on every premium motorcycle they sell.

One thing's for sure. With the release of the Nano, anyone thinking of going in for a bike will consider the cheapest car available. That makes motorcycle makers take a serious look at the bikes they offer, and come up with bikes that cater to the growing needs of the average urban person. A variety has been missing, and by bringing in more powerful & stylish bikes, the bike scene will definitely get a boost (the same way the car senario is,with the entry of cars by Tata & Bajaj).

I think it should be priced somewhere around the 1.5 L mark, as Suzuki plans to launch its 600 series at 4 L...
