Best Bike to Buy

hi experts,

I am planning to buy a bike for the past 2 months. But many says different opinions about different bike. So i am totally confused now. I need a bike which looks good and decent maileage ( i.,e 60 on typical city conditions). And also i want to know the performance of recent release of Bajaj Discover. Many says i does not have a good pickup and it is creating sound when running. I have a tought of buying this. Can any 1 rate (pulsar/victor/discover etc). Please advice me guys.

Thanx

the 125cc passion from HH is also due anytime.so why not wait

Yup the Unicorn would be a good choice. It's got a great engine, good FE, amazing handling (thanks to it's monoshocks) and it's performance is on par with the latest Pulsar 150 DTSi. What more could you ask for.

If you're looking for the ultimate in Indian biking, nothing can match the 250 Comet, provided you're ready to shell out more than a lakh for it.

For daily use, i'd suggest the Unicorn.

Try the Beamer too, i dunno how good it is, but worth a try.

I was very much disappointed with Unicon when I saw it first time. My friend bought a black one and first thing I noted was cheap plastics all over. The firing is nothing great. It's a 12 bhp bike, but got comprehensively beaten by my 6 year old stock RX. Pulsar is good but not totally confident of its quality. I would have suggested Fazer for its refined engine and plush ride, but for its odd looks (which I happen to like again) and poor mileage.

I'll anyway advice you to go for Unicorn (against Pulsar) simply because I always felt HH (and now Honda) gives better quality bikes than Bajaj.

Kawasaki Elimnator ( with the kawa engine) is a good buy now considering they jus cut 25k off the price tag.

Ok, thanks! I was not very unsure about it, but then it makes it only worse to get beaten in straight line race.

Rider makes all the difference. My friend claims he beat a Karizma with his RX135 (Stock). LOL

I hate to agree with it. Anyway, for some reason, RX was always underrated bike.

dude firstly u cannot compare a pulsar and a victor . they r miles apart . i think u r looking for a bike that is for the economy rider . so u will not get a speed m/c. the discover is a very nice machine .the pickup and average r good. the expansion chamber and all r very good . the looks also are OK . but seriously the only downside is the fact it is a bajaj . in fact i would suggest to u a ambition 135 . now its ur call
