Know where you can get one?! And whats the approx cost?!
Got an idea about the price here in Hyderabad.
A used one comes between 500-800, easy to get.
A new one is for 1800-2000, but hard to find.

As for Yezdi 350's, i've seen only Road king version's of it which runs on the single Jikov carb, spares are impossible to get here, Can try in bangalore and Mysore.
But I remember in this thread one called a Monarch, never seen that on the road.
Just bought a 3 new Jikovs a while back.

In Hyderabad I've just seen dad's friends 60's JAWA 350, looks exactly the same as a 353, but that has 2 cylinders. Spares were tough to find in the 80's when the company was fully functional. Apparently they were all imported.

Kuttapan, Is that a twin Yezdi??? Pics are too small. Can you send a diff link with a bigger pic. If what I am seeing is true, then you will be the Only 2nd person I know of with a twin yezz. Kudos to you. PS- Where do you get the spares and service? I never dreamt of owning one, but as my tates go, I like to own something that no one or very few have. PSPS - As a diesel bulleter may ask first; whats the FE you get.

I will try and send you a bigger pic.

Spares - well, you are right, they are hard to come by. But I ride it quite sparingly, so not in need of much spares. Service is done by a yezdi mech I know.

FE - How does 23 sound?

@Kuttapan

Is it possible to source a complete gearbox(16 ,17, 19, 20, Lay shaft, cam shaft minimum) of a JAWA, but Mysore make or Czeck make.
The others local ones dont last at all, so is useless to get the engine opened for those, can use the existing ones instead.

I have to confess I dont have much idea. You need to check with spare part shops in Myssore, they may have it.

Alright. Thanks.
Most say its near impossible to get the original ones, as much they say I'm bent upon getting those or not getting any.

Try Jain Auto(or Motors) in Mysore, they are rumoured to have got a huge stockpile of parts when the company went bust.

Yea, I have heard of that a couple of times. Will try to go there next month or may.
Thanks for the tip.
I'd got every thing, A to Z from the yezdi showroom in Bangalore in '93, should have changed the gears then too, but didn't.
Original parts are worth looking for, the front shock oil seals that came from the yezdi outlet in Bangalore are still good, local ones go kaput within 1 1/2- 2 years..
