here are the engine specification dudes check this out

HONDA CBR 150 R

Its already there seen couple of these small SBK's in Mumbai only you need to import them :).

what i was trying to say as a production bike like yamaha r15 it wil be a really good competetion of both top end bikes in 150cc mark

R15, inspite of being highly priced will sell. reason : power

The CBR150 on the hand, if im not wrong, develops around 14-15bhp. and the goodies it comes with means that it cannot be priced below, say, 65-70000. At this price, it wont find many customers.

It may be the underdog with the R15 hitting the roads sometime this year. 14-15bhp sounds ok,but I feel its the Yamaha bikes that'll walk away with the trophy!

i think it can easily make 17-18bhp as its liquid cooled engine and with 115KG weight and 6 speed gearbox it can give R15 some competition if priced little lower than R15

but i wonder y this engine makes such a low power :-/ being a 4valve DOHC engine ..... also the compression ratio is 11:1 .....

is it on carb or Fi ?? i guess if its Fi then this engine gives a hint of power output of R15 :) ....

PS: i searched for CBR 150R specification and T-BHP was 4th on google :D

and some sites are claiming that it can attain max speed of 160 KMPH that cool to dude

Finally six speeders are here (should i say here to stay)
huhhh!! whatever.

cool bikes making forays into the indian market.
But what about bikes pretending to be superbikes (spotted a karizma kitted up to look like a REPSOL !!! I swear it made me go sick)

There's a thread for those vehicles.. The Wierd & whacky mod jobs..

So its basically a 150cc with a CBR sticker with fancy rims and plastic body parts.

 IMHO the front fairing, specially the headlight part of the bike looks like those on the cheap looking modified bikes in India.

I feel it looks better than those cheap plastic pieces used on other bikes. Being a true 'Honda' bike, its gotta have some levels of quality.
(not saying that other bikes in India don't have any quality, the difference can be seen quite clearly with respect to imports)

I wish they'd slap a fairing on bikes 250CC and upwards, these puny bikes look so awkward with fairings. They would makes much more aesthetic sense going the naked route. I can't believe Honda has'nt woken up to it.

Second that. If there's anything above 250cc,throw in the fairing and give it a better look. Same old looks on a bike,be it 100cc or 250cc isn't something to go on with.

not this any day! i rather buy a karizma and tune it for power than buy this 150cc. if its for looks then that is already there here! i want a bike that produces more torque from the engine when its stock later all the other things can be done and imo they already way over due!

just my thoughts, what do you say?
