Suzuki GSX-R125 is coming!

There had been lot of speculations about Suzuki coming out with smaller GSXR series and now, it seems, that they are indeed working on the smallest Ninja of all : the GSX-R125.

After the oh-so-good looking Yamaha YZF-R125, we can very well expect the GSX-R125 this year too. MCN carried an article on the same.

Will it make it to India? Or is it just for the European markets?

The article only lays emphasis on the European market. So, i guess, it may never make it to India.

Just out of curiosity,

Is the R15 launched? any indication of the prices? The prices speculated in the forum seem too low for the specifications and features on offer. So I was thinking they just showcased it for the Expo to make us Indians wild.

The FXR150 which you find in Malaysia is a better option I think. Around 20 bhp oil cooled.

If its true, then its great news! Good to see the bike scene improving, along side the cars.

Now for more bikes with full-fairing,to hit the Indian roads.

The 125 is designed for European teenagers who are on restricted license. Its gonna have radical seating position and high strung torque less engine. The FXR was design for Asia where people commute on bikes.

that's a happening news!!,Atlast japanese has started to think about India seriously...
like Bunny said i think suzuki might offer atleast 150cc like Yamaha.
but why aren't they thinking about a 250cc V twin for India,i'm dying to see a 250 on Indian roads from any japanese bike manufacturer

More choices for bikers.
Love the way we are maturing as an Auto destination/Industry.
Now at least we people graduate to the next level in Bi"KING"
Dont know about others but the "wind in the hair" and the sense of unison with the bike is beyond compare for me.

Sad, Why are we rejoicing because of the news about ANOTHER 150cc moped ?

Now, pls dont start giving 22bhp and other non sense, its still a moped kind of performance..

May be they will have a full fairing and huge tyres just for the wannabe racerboy looks... pathetic..

Now, if only we get the same with that 22bhp under 5000 rpm on a dirt/supermotard frame, that could be SOME little fun...
