No doubt about that, but here we are talking about 150cc = budget of around 60k.

It's not confirmed. Even the specifications are not confirmed yet.

In that case Apache eFI would be the best option. It is speculated to be launched this month.

well if you dont want to be honda in any way and want a quality and trouble free bike then wait for some more time and buy either suzuki or yamaha's yet to be released bikes!

i would not suggest any others in the market, in this segment!

even better buy a second hand well maintained yamaha rx or a suzuki shaolin!

The R15 is expected to be around 80 to 85k. If you think you can wait for some time and can afford for a higher price like this, then this is the right one for you.

Go for RTR 160 CC. very sporty and immense power. Also tvs has better after sales service than honda. atleast in pune. RTR is a very confident zip-zap drive through the heavy city traffics as well as on highways.

pulsar is a media hyped bike. its handling in city is very poor. also the CG doesnt feel perfect on the tall bike when u take close cuts in the traffic.also the torque curve is not flat on pulsar due to which its a jerk in stop and go traffic. u have to change ur gears frequently.
we have dragged pulsar 150 with RTR many times. RTR takes guts out of pulsar. u can try out urself. 160 cc is always better than 150 with that extra bhp with same mileage.
also RTR has a flat torque and better low end torque which makes it better handling without too much of shifting between gears. also its CG is perfect and feels very confident and safe when u make sharp cute.

I second that - if Unicorn is out; I strongly recommend Apache over Bajaj Pulsar anyday. You may consider CBZ-X or Hunk (I think HUnk is ugly though) as well. HH bikes are good, but I do bet for TVS Apache RTR. My bro has older Apache 150 for 1.5 years now and absolutely no problems with that - only pillion seat is a bit small.

i was not aware that pulsars have a mixed market reputation. since I see them everywhere on roads i assumed it would be good.

but I've already made that mistake once with the activa (saw it everywhere, assumed its a good buy, had a bad experience with the vehicle, dealership & Honda company was apathetic too).

tryin to get confirmation about the yamaha . else may go for the apache.

mr. briannadra, i personally feel that you had a very bad experience with the honda, but that is i presume is because of the dealership, the vehicle has not been quoted as bad as any of the other users, honda is world renowned and is an accepted vehicle even in the european market where none of the other japaneese vehicles could even sniff an air of acceptance.........

Indians have always accepted the second best because they seem to have adjusted to the kind available.........

TVS is TQM certified, but are any of its products even near to that, except the RTR........., even that time would only tell.......
