Very well written, Sam.
I used to lust for the RX myself in my teens and was extremely envoius of my friends who owned it but pops would never write a cheque for anything with two wheels and a motor :( Loved the classic black and chrome one. Silver one is the next best favorite. Hated the chumps who would modify the silencer to produce a stupid rickshaw-like sound.
What a wonderful write up Sam! Yours is one of the few posts in Team_BHP that i enjoy reading again and again.

Imagine, 20,000 members atleast 5,000 Kids! Man, you making serious profitlol: |
Nice idea. Sam, you want to take up on this business proposition? :D
Author material...I have had my share of reading and if you ever were to write a book, I will buy it.
Thanks Sam, that made a great read. I'm one of those who had an RX in college in the early 90s – a red one, later painted black. It was the bike to be seen on in those days. It never seized a piston or blew a gasket in all the six years I lived on it – I can't say the same about the Bullets I've owned...
Ah! The owners and ex-owners of RX would feel moved by reading this, just like I am right now. It was a beauty and a beast. Well, those were the days.
Great write-up Yeti!
Fantastic! And I can relate to this tale having ridden around on a RX-100 for a few months after completing my 10th standard! What fun!
P.S. I remember you owned a CBR too at one point of time. Any memoirs of that?

well i can assure you one thing that one day i will surely publish your blogs.(with your permission and provided they are kept carefully at tbhp always).
keep the good work going on and on!
Sam bhai,
can relate to your story on RX 100, I had the pleasure of owning two of them and I regret of selling the second one just 4 yrs back :Frustrati.
However, I don't intend to sell the RX 135 2 Stroke, 4 Gear cousin of RX 100, though it can't match closely to its earlier generation. Its a pleasure to ride even now on RX, though I get warnings all around that I should not ride the bike 40+ KM Speed at this age lol:, but who cares, once in a while ripping her to 80+ is a pure pleasure IMO
Beautiful mate!!! u really bought tears to my eyes!! Lovely!!
