I was planning to get my Pulsar painted Matte black. Guess a couple of stickers would put some punch on that bike. Overall its a decent looking bike.

How much did it cost you to paint the whole bike ?

Like the others mentioned, paint the crash guard black as well to complete the look.
I love the fairing of the CBZ. It costs just Rs600/-(excluding light assembly), so do get it as it would complete the look. Else, go for the Classic Pulsar's round headlamp.

Few stickers in red would complete the look.

@fountainheader - For the painting job,i shelled out almost 1500rs. The Engine and alloys are painted long before..so that cost is not incuded. I think overall,it will cost near to 2500rs.

@ gordon - thanks for the suggestions bro. but those parts aint rusted. Its in that color itself.

@ prajeep - I really appreciate in your effort of doing that paintjob thing for me in PS.thanks mate. Will consider into doing those mods.

@ all - Yes folks, will change the headlamp.

A few more pics of my 'same' ride

Umm.
Im gonna be frank here.
The simple black looks very dull.
If you get the chrome on the silencer, crashguard, kickrod covered in matte black vinyl should look better, not in terms of dull though but overall look, the chrome is spoiling it.
The major thing you can do right now is get some steaking done with silver radium tape, along the edges or curves or as u like, that goes with the black. keeping it minimal. should cost some 40-60 bucks too.
Another thing that reallys peircing the eyes is the red, get it replaced by silver radium tape, that would make it look good in the night.

I'd suggest a couple of changes..

1: Get rid of that red lining on the alloys. Get it completely black.
2: Cut down on the size of the rear number plate. I guess it looks too "long" since you've chopped out some of the rear flaps.

here, some photoshopping ..crash bars ,kicker and silencer heat guard turned matte black.. most of the screws or nuts, engine's upper part, rear shocks are chromed, and a red lining added to the tank.

The plain look is always better than the jazzy sticker jobs. U can go for the same blue, but try to keep it clean without much stickers... Get rid of the engine cover, get a new rear mudguard and try to get some sock alloys from ZMA's, Xtreme's or Apache's (u can go for front 17" and rear 18")... Powder coat (or paint matte black) the engine and wheels... Retain the same Zapper Q rubber in the rear.. It has enough life left... Then paint the body, do some minimal sticker job (I like the CBZ classc's styling - Classic is always a classic)..

Thats it.. u r good to go!
