my money would go in the 180dts-i definately.

i own a zma for the last 8 months. exceeeelento bike... best handling... but maintenance...errr... sepnt 1600 rs for a new clutch.... my car's cluthc is cheaper ....

the new 180dtsi is a very good bike... superb lowend torque... just test drove it a week ago... the biek goes on 3rd below 20kmph without any knocking.... bajaj is gettgin better day by day... and i believe the handling improved al lot dur to the rear gas shocks....

so dude... 180 is the man. or might as well wait for teh pulsator (eliminator with the dtsi engine) coming out 2nd week on april.... will be 75k - 80k on road.

and revtech: as far as the rear tyre goes, go for a pirelli 140/70 am not sure wll it fit on a 17 rim but will be worth it... and im not sure but would require some alterations on the chaincover and the drive....

otherwise... teh stock tyre looks handsome as well.... burn it soon and then get a new one.

and dont stunt on ur bike... it just makes ur bike a wreck! but i still cant stop. hehe.

peace.

The new 180dtsi is the perfect streetbike for india. Best VFM, good looks, decent mileage, awesome brakes. Although the Zma is my personal favourite, the 180 ditsy is the best bet!

i would say if you are going for power then no one stands in comparision with honda unicorn but if you want mileage then the pulsar dtsi dosent matter even if its a 180 or 150 had personal experience with pulsar dtsi the old pulsar is better than the new dtsi

helooo??
the pulsar 180 dtsi with the mag wheels churns out 16.5bhp..
while the unicorn puts out around 13bhp....

then how come u say..
"i would say if you are going for power then no one stands in comparision with honda unicorn"

also the new 180s have awesome low n mid range grunt...
resulting in mind blowing acceleration..
but it lacks in its top end...

yeah i didnt think about the 180 dtsi but i still feel that the unicorn is better than a pulsar dtsi. i dont like the quality of the bajaj's and a honda is a honda

the 180 DTSi has a electric starter.

the best thing is My p180 is noe 5 months old and not even a single paisa has been spent on any breakdowns only 300 Rs so far for oil and 80Rs for single shifter.not a single fault from the machine in 5 months.i could not say that about my Bajaj saffire.way to go Bajaj.

also i think u better upgrade the rear tyre because i have seen that the bike slides while stopping from say 80kmph if u apply the rear brakes wrongly.

the 2004 p180dtsi may come for around 37-40k while p150dtsi may be around 42-45K, about the classic p180 will come fro around 30-32K and p150 for 33-35K,depending on model year. this are just my gueses though.

The honda should not be compared to the bajaj pulsar 180 dtsi. They are of different categorys... altho if i was looking for performance along with good fuel economy my hit would be on the honda unicorn... it is by far the best handling bike i have ridden however if i was lookin for a mad bull dogg.. a beast (in this case) i would buy the pulsar 180 dtsi..
