DTSi-Digital Twin Spark ignition i.e. the combustion is through two spark plugs which ensures better burning of fuel and the power also has gone up by 1BHP due to this in both pulsars. Anyways the normal 150 and 180s are not in production. If you need a sporty bike then go in for the pulsars or if you want refinement go for Unicorn.

Well .. based upon your requirements it looks like the Unicorn would be a better bet.

2 plugs or 3 plugs,i have had a bad experience with Bajaj.
go for the unicorn ,but u have to either wait for 6 months or pay a premium of 5000rs.
the Unicorn now has electric start .
if Fe is ur main priority go for theUnicorn.unicorn should give about 60kpl.even if the pulsar gives 100 kpl i will stay away from it.
or else if FE is not an issue,go for the karizma.

are u crazy?? a seconhand unicorn.it will cost u more than a new one(remember 6 months waiting).i belive there will still be premium on seconhand ones.

what the hell refinement.i test rided both and found that even though the honda engine is definetly more refined it sounds **** and pulsar 180dtsi(which i bought after the compare) is quite refined too.anyway the roads take away all the refinement on anything u buy.Look at value for money guys.also i get 46-48kmpl from the 180 pulsar(alloy wheels model).they have really refined it.just try it.Honda is crazy.dont they have the capacity to produce more motorcycles.will the continue to play with the people because of their name.even the activa launched 3 years ago has waiting period of 2 months or premium of 3k.Only honda vehiles have waiting period as crazy as six months.Grow up men.

hahha ,
yeah revtech be careful.

and regarding bajaj,i had a splendor for 6 years and 70k kms.
now whenever i ride someone else's pulsar,it feels so crude.
my 97 splendor was far better than a 2003 dtsi.
and the handle feels so heavy that u get tired on long drives.
especially if you are used to the ultra light honda's .

also the gear shifting in a pulsar is still not as smooth as the HH bikes.and the vibrations are too musch for comfort.
same with the caliber.it sukks.
the wind 125 was okay.

and about the unicorn, the waiting period is down to 3months and there is no premium now.everyone has to wait.

Agreed HH bikes are much better when compared to bajaj bikes in terms of refinement. The gearshift on the pulsar is lousy...sticks and gives false neutrals many times...but cant say if it has been improved on the 2005 model.

See the recent Quality of HH.it feels worse.how have they slashed the price of karizma by 10k without compromising anything.they have reduced the quality ot nonsense.the paint jop sucks.drove a ambition yesterday.gears felt like the had to kicked hard instead of gentle twitch in my 2005.pulsar 180 DTSi.the 2005 model is really good.

also Honda does not take the premium the dealers do take it.they will give ur booked bike to someone else for extra cash.
