The Yamaha FZ 150 should outsell the R15 based on the economics and the showroom price. Lets hop it comes here very soon.

I'm guessing they are being tested by the magazines and ARAI there.

Pics of the parked bikes, this time with watermark

I caught these bikes parked on an outing recently.. could not download a watermark software in office, so reduced the size and uploading..

EDIT: I have watermarked the photos this time. All the folks who were testing were wearing yamaha gear. There were 5 of them and they stopped me from taking photos, all the attached were clicked before that

LOL Meer, you added the watermarked images, not replaced them. Great pics, BTW.

Mods, can you delete the pics in his first post?

Thanks for the encouragement

Thanks for the kind comments Proxima and CrAzY dRiVeR. Thanks for all the help Proxima.

The bike is certainly going to change the game in the bike market. Just waiting for the launch. I am sure lot of other bike manufacturers would be already on their drawing boards trying to come out with something

Good to see Yamaha finally waking up from their deep slumber...

Ok guys here is something which you guys wanna know.

Top Speed Measured for FZ 150

At 11:45 AM i was coming back to delhi from Greater noida (expressway greater noida). I was smoking and enjoying nice music and was cruising at 80-85 kmph in my accent.

Suddenly i saw 3 bikes coming towards me. o0o0 lala its FZ 150.

I think they were testing it with max speed. I started giving a chase, i was running parallel to the bike ahead of the 3. But yes, very safe distance from the bike.

MY ODO showed me just above 120 kmph and the guy behind that bike slowly aproaching the guy in the front. The 2nd guy was a bit thinner than the first one. then almost parallel and around 125 kmph. The Show lasts for 5-6 min.

They had to slow down due to traffic ahead. Then the first guy shifted to lower gear and zoom. I never had such experience with karizma, pulsars so can't tell if that zoommmm is better than karizma or pulsars? But yes 70-110 kmph was really quick.

The first guy started riding it a bit dangerously and could had ended up in an accident with a stupid maruti esteem guy who was standing still and started running his car without looking at the back. The Yamaha guy really saved himself.

Looks:
Stock tyres are fat. Really fat and the bike was looking superb.
Just one drawback which was very eyecatching. Saari Guard. Yuck.

This looks like a really cool bike for city and simple touring . Keep a spare bike for all the fun and this for around town. Makes good sense. Hopefully they give the bike good respectable power and w/o that flashy display.

The dealers here will be receiving the bikes with UP test plates in sometime, so a mere guess it would be there in 1 to 2 months time.
