What is a good Beginner Bike?

But the bottom line is, if you had 2lks, would you buy it?!!! I wouldn't...

So you din't end up buying it and now u recommend N.J to get one.... heheheee....

lol! Well, I still don't think the bike is bad or overpriced. Its just a bit short on power really. And yea, it could do with a better fit n finish.

i guess i'l just have to wait. i had no idea that the booking for the comet was over, the only reason why i would go for a comet was that it was the only so called sport bike india, and after riding the busa, i didnt want to shift to the pony pulsars and karismas. do you guys think there are more bikes of the same kind or better goin to come to india about the same cost and when?

comet, like Rt said is definetly short of power(atleast for the price it is coming at)...
I had once watched a programme on TV in some channel(guess, Aaj Tak or something), not pretty sure..
In that the guy made certain poits like how it behaves on a higher speed and stuff.. Well with that pricing u need real good power(but it doesnt have that).. Even the top speed is not very good either..
so my recmmendation would be go for an RD and save the extra bucks on its maintenance...
