Yes but on GQ run there were more than two riders so what these guys are attempting is different & quite challenging.

All the best for their K2K endurance attempt

I did Srinagar-Kanyakumari solo in 4 days in my Matiz in 2002. Distance was 3,800 kms.

Day 1: Srinagar-Panipat, delayed because of heavy rains in Punjab and zero-visibility fog

Day 2: Panipat-Sagar

Day 3/4 (non-stop 2-dayer): Sagar-Kanyakumari-Trivandrum

There were no double-roads 6 years ago for most part.

H V Kumar - Driving Log Books - KUMAR'S DRIVING LOG BOOKS Kashmir to Kanyakumari, Dec 2002
This is the log book of that trip.

2 people creating a record in 5 days - even from Khardung la, if planned properly, with today's roads, you could do it in 4 days, with 2 guys driving. Even a solo driver could do it.

kumar sir,
its two ppl on two bikes. not 2 guys - 1 bike. i feel its gonna be a tough challenge with North south corridor work in progress.

While doing the Golden Quad. Run,bad patches robbed us of high average speeds.

I overlooked the bike part. Yes, doing it in a bike is indeed a challenge. Best of luck to them.

pfamilyman, what about that friend of yours - he also did some record speed runs?

I did a 3,000 km run in my 100 cc Suzuki bike solo from Bhutan to Bombay in 1994, in 4 days. Retired from biking after that!

Are they planning on sticking to the speed limit or race recklessly on public roads?

Its one thing to do a fuel economy run on public roads but trying to break a speed/time record is not advisable.
