What a maniacal Sunday it was!

From questioning myself about "When everyone would arrive" to the question changing to "WHEN WILL I GO HOME!", it was a BANG.

Left home at around 8 in the morning (Maverick and I did a lot of wildlife photography then) and returned by around 3. Different bikes, different characteristics and specs...but one thing stayed the same - THE PASSION FOR THE BIKE. Did not think the meet would turn out to be such a success (too bad a couple of bikes could not make it due to technical issues). However, they turned up which shows the spirit and passion

Posting pics here. The 2nd one is of all the owners and friends...

More pics and videos coming soon.

nice . good to see RD members actively meeting up. better still that everyone looks young rather than the old guys discussing politics and how boring life is :P

the red RD with the Rajdoot stickering looks the most tastefully and immaculately maintained compared to the rest. nice going guys.

Hey guys,

We were not done there. We then headed out for a ride (unfortunately the Red one with Rajdoot decals and Maverick could not join us).

7 of us rode out for some distance on Ghodbunder road and stopped at a temple across the Thane creek. Here are some more pics of the same.

@Turbo_V12, those are some super snaps. My regards to all the owner for all the hardwork they do to keep their bikes in shape.

Yes Junkie, indeed. It has exhaust pipes in immaculate condition, sounds amazing and is using the Ravi Nagesh CDi ignition kit. His mechanics are the RR racing brothers down south so it has be that good. But out group unanimously votes the pic of the bike posted here as the most well kept and maintained one. When anyone sees it in real life, he is floored.

The bike is owned by the bloke who has his bike's rear end painted on his T-shirt in previous pics...

Thanks trooper (So when are you waiting for the next attack? You'd better stand there's no turning back). I know you would connect with the hard work well since you've put in just as much effort in your RD.

Later a few of us were joined by an FZ and an RX 160 (a 135 bored out to a 160).

The RX has a 10-piece exhaust (must have swallowed half the reptiles from the world) and is so loud that I am sure we were waking people up in the afternoon while riding it.

disagree with u V12 . ive seen better . just a fresh coat of paint and lots of bling ( chrome ) dont make a great looking RD. the beauty lies in the eye for detail . straight off on that bike , the seat has to be changed to a stock shaped one with the beading or something that closely resembles it. The condition of the tyre walls look bad , either it needs a good scrub and polish or more . nice RX , cute T shirt

the yellow one is a RX right? I've seen an exact same RD. 2x1 chamber. running on points. R6 front forks etc. Forks dont look the same but chamber & colour etc are same.

@ Junkie, yes I guess you are right. It's just that the bike looks better than in the pic and rides just as good. Right from the brakes to the clutch to the throttle response and engine all feel great. So we just term that bike the best amongst us. But yes, the red Rajdoot met us for the 1st time that day so I guess the blue one has competition.

Rongom, Guru saw my shirt and said exactly the same thing. So I guess am gonna go out hunting for that RD now...

Hello Folks!

It's a good little bunch indeed. I have seen many such get-togethers in Bangalore but haven't been able to make it. I own a RD-350 (HT-1983) and will get involved soon in such activity.
