I finally got Michelin M45 3.25x18 tyres for my pulsar (rear tyre). Tried to get the 4.00x18 but the mechanic said that he will have to take off or cut the chain cover.

Dint want to do that since I drive more than 50 kms everyday and the dust all pervasive. Dint wanna screw up the chain since I am a bit lax at chain maintenance

Grip is better than the stock Zapper 100/90 - 18 that I had earlier.

Good choice! Congrats. Though the mechanic is bull$#!tting. I fitted the 4.00x18 and had to do no such thing. Only thing was that I had to make sure that the chain cover was tightened properly to make sure the tyre was centred.

Dunlop tyres in India are made in a factory near Mysore. the company is called Falcon. It has practically nothing to do with the dunlop of old!

Lots of people are saying that Geocruiser is a worst tyre when compared to any of the MRF's.

Where are they saying it? In my experience the geocruiser was any day better than the stock zapper. But yes some new patterns on MRF have been getting good reviews.

The rear tyre Moto-O from MRF for my Yamaha RX 100 fitted a year back is quite OK (3.00 X 18).

They are saying that poor braking + poor handling(on curves).
