Re: Rare need....tyres for my yezdi.

LionX: I think Dunlop has a ribbed tyre available in Bangalore. Am heading to JC Road soon, will check. Whats your opinion on the Michelins? Worth the money? You're absolutely right regarding the Moto-D, I'd say its suicidal especially on wet roads.
Dunlop prices seem pretty steep! I'd picked up a few for a friend at 1600 a set (tyre + tube) in May. Would the 2000 bucks be inclusive of tube?

Throttleking: Lots of people report that the recent batch of Ceat Secura Sport tyres have a very significant wobble. Anyone NOT facing these problems?

Cheers
Rahul

Hi Rahul, Please let me know if the ribbed ones are available in any of the brands. Have not put the michelin yet as the bike is in kerala nearing the end of restoration. Look wise, I would say its better as it has the Zapper style and more importantly thread is extended to the sides, so expect more cornering grip.

Yes the Dunlop price is inclusive of tube, not the Michelin.

Re: Rare need....tyres for my yezdi.

I picked 16'', don't remember the name of the shop. This shop is opposite to a shop called "saranesh" (or something like that) which deals Yezdi parts.

AFAIK, Moto-D has the worst grip among all.
Hey! Can you post pics of the michelin please? I ride an RX 135 thats been running 3.25/16 in the rear since day one. Was hooked to Moto-D,still am For an RX, the Moto's did a fab job. Running on ceat secura for a couple of months and not very happy with them. Bike has gone into the shop for some long pending engine & clutch work and though i might as well be done with replacing the tyres as well!

Yes, they are imports via Grey market. Available in Mumbai too for around 2500.

Can anyone comment on riding experience with these tires as compared to Ceat/ Dunlops.
