Khalidaro custom bikes

Was in Vile Parle (E) the other day and came across this wierd looking shape parked quietly. Went closer and had seen nothing like it before. It said Khalidaro design. A friend was along and he being a biker, said without looking at it Oh this must be a Khalidaro bike. Now I barely know anything about bikes, let alone someone who custom makes them. I did personally like it but it's very different from anything else on the road, and for that itself I admire the effort. What's the donor bike for one of these? Clearly inspired by Batman. I wonder how this would handle, with that Busa sized rear tyre and a pulsar-sized front one. Anyway since I was fascinated, I took lots and lots of pictures. Not judging this bike from any angle, I just found it an interesting piece of work you bikers would like to see.

From what I can see from the pictures, the base is that of a Enfield Bullet, this is very evident from the engine block, and frankly, I quite like the efforts put into the modifications and it is quite a looker.

The donor bike is definately a Bullet, thats the bike from which the Engine has come. Rest all is custom made.
The mods would have easily cost him 1Lakh, apart from the cost of the Bullet.

Bullet it is, the 4th picture has the amp. meter , not the fuel gauge. It is nice modification though I like the Bullet to stay always original with the retro look

Awesome bike.
I never knew that these great looking bike exists in India also.

I still wonder about the donor bike.

When I tired searching " Kahlidaro " in google, I got " Kalidara.com, this site is under contruction ".

I would definitely like to know more about this.

I'll ask my friend to give me some more information about it. He's a hardcore biker and he was like "oh they suck I think" but I liked the design and that was all there was to it. It's quite impractical though, it's evident dont you think. That handlebar and those wierdly sized tyres, how would the bike handle? The rvm's are tiny, and the chrome bits look really tacky in real. But still, when you look at the overall thing, I really like it and it's a commendable effort. I like the LED taillamps but there are no indicators up front or at the rear, I didn't find any, anyway.

Nice effort. But, the grips, foot pegs, etc look like props from a S&M video. Is the rear wheel Lenso Magsomething?
Isn't there another company in Mumbai that designs custom bikes? They have been featured in BSM a few times. DaVinci Bikes or something?

Man i wouldn't want to have a spill on that bike... i could get stabbed by the bike.

Another case of all show and no go..choosing 500 as the base could've been better. Most of the chassis parts are Bullet's. Only the rear section is custom made. The rake has been increased although.
