I highly doubt the autheticity of that article, for starters, it could have been worded better. It is nothing but speculation.

Good, finally everyone are gettin better models in..

Dunno how it would perform, but the Yamaha R15 certainly looks better than this Honda CBR150

R15 looks better than this one. But performance wise CBR is ahead of R15. handling no comments on this one.
First due to DOHC, 2nd gearbox.

R15 have 5th and 6th gear as overdrive due to mileage factor i bet honda wont be doing it.

I saw that article and it does not mention a source. Its highly speculative at this point.

Until some one can get a valid source, this thread is closed.

EDIT (Dec 8): Thread Reopened

May be this article was a logical guess from the fact that Honda had brought the CB150 to race on the track, just to show it's prowess in response to the R15s hype/craze.
BTW, Bike India has an article by Aspi wherein he states that the CB is substantially quick in terms of lap times.
Comin back to the topic, instead of the 150 comin to India, the 125 is goin vides in Fi avatar.

This is going to be one hell of a bike if it makes its way on Indian soil.
I read an article published in the bike magazine which says that the cbr is 6 seconds faster than a r15 on the mmsc track.Joel I hope you know what might be heading our way

R15 had been detuned according to the Indian Conditions. Else, both the bikes can run equally fast.

Its quite a matter of opinion , for me the honda looks better than the yamaha , imho this bike will kill yamaha's sales if it IS being launched here.

The CBR 150R is NOT coming to India. Period.
They are running it in races, but is not going to be sold here.

Then whats the point of running the bike for race? There are other countries too where CBR 150R is there along with R15.

HMSI is not as agressive as Yamaha. They will & in fact do not need to react to competition from Yamaha in India. I will be more than happy if they prove me wrong!!!
