Pros:
  1. Low cost of maintenence. any one can jugaad a spare part for this low maintenence bike.
  2. good pickup
  3. stable at high speeds
  4. macho sound
Cons:
  1. its out of production and most of the spares available would not be genuine yezdi parts. but that taken care of by Pro#1
  2. bad fuel efficiency. expect around 30kmpl or lesser.
  3. oil leakage.
  4. your girlfriend/wife might refuse to be seen anywhere near that.
  5. you would not be able to sell it in future, except to a fan of classic bikes or to the raddiwalla.
ask around and ensure that even that 10K is not a case of over pricing.

If you are looking for a yezdi, mileage should be the last thing on your mind.

BTW, for what purpose are you planning to buy the bike ? Are you interested in vintage stuff, are you into modifications/restoration work, or you plan to buy the bike for daily commuting ?

With a rajdoot's mikuni carb, i was able to get 35kmpl once if thats what you are looking at. But there is no pleasure riding a bike like that. My experiment lasted exactly 3 days.

I rode the Yezdi classic for a fair bit. Mileage hovered around the low 20s. Sometimes, starting is a pain, ride is very stable and smooth. The Roadking is easier to start, returns about 30kmpl but in my opinion, the ride isnt that great.

if you are passionate about vintage stuff, go for it. buy only if you really are a bike enthusiast, or else go for a rx100 which will be around the same price, the maintainence will be lot more easier.mileage as Shakensoul said should be the last thing in your mind. my uncle owns a roadking, i dont have much idea of its maintainence but the bike is really smooth and quite powerful. dunno much about classic though
