Let me know the contact details of the dealer please.the problem is that even if they book the bike they can't deliver it.some of the dealers don't know that the production has stopped and they take bookings and later they call back and inform that its not available.this is the problem.i can only get it if there is one in stock.lets hope someone in delhi has.

EDIT: Breakthrough!! One available.Keeping fingers crossed that it doesn't move an inch till i get her!!!! YAY!!

I'm in the process of talking to Mehandru motors.there is a bike standing at Ess Aar Motors and they were ready to sell it to me and i had sent a guy to book it but now all of the sudden they're unwilling and are saying that the company has informed them not to sell it.

Its a complete lie i think and the truth is that maybe they have a buyer who's willing to give extra cash for the bike.I can't express my anger at this point of time.lets see what happens.

Can anyone confirm this ? Or is this speculation

I'm in touch with RE about the LB500 as well as the Electra 4S. In some time, we'll have concrete news straight from RE.

The UCE500 is faster than the LB500 man. You still want the LB500. May I ask you why? About Ess Aar motors denying you the booking/sale, shoot an email off to customerservice@royalenfield.com immediately. And describe the situation in detail.

I don't trust dealers - I was told i20 CRDI lauch would be in December when I enquired in June. I got delivery of the car July end

Honda is even nastier, with the top management rushing to deny launch of any new model, and launch it in a couple of months

navpreet ! i just came home after getting my bike fixed again after the IInd service, he says that he has 2 LB500 ! I dont know why he told you otherwise, but he asked me if i wanted to buy one. i talked to prince about this.

The Royal Enfield India website reads that the RE Machismo 500 are only made 500 numbers per year country-wide.
So, may be they are out of stock for this year, and production will start in 2010.

Shan: i just called him up again.he says he has machismo 350's and not 500's.So..

Anyways i just might get a new one after all.

i'll update as soon as something concrete happens.

Jayprashanth:i know that the UCE is faster but i want the bull for its old heritage.I love the look of the old engine.The new one looks like a pulsar's bigger brother.lol.
Moreover i'm not buying this for its speed.i'm buying it for the love i have for this machine.it exudes classiness.I have another machine for speed and it can do speeds that i don't even have the balls to reach.lol.

@deutscheafrikar: Somewhere between 1.5 to 2 lakhs. Ofcourse we are all speculating right now.
