Picked up this and fitted it to the CBR250R .. It was either this or clear vision. However Not sure the difference between them.

If you want more light/functionality , always pick clear bulbs not the blue tinted ones. The blue bulbs give whiter light, but lesser amount of light. It tricks the eye, you see whiter output, but there's less of it. That's because the blue coating is a filter, and as with all filters, they reduce the amount of what passes through them, in this case, light.

Thanks for the info Ricci. I never knew that untill now, however i just installed this and not very pleased with the output. I'm still on a hunt for a better bulb. Problem is its very hard to find the Philips X-treme here in Hyderabad and i doubt i ever will, if somebody has it available in city i wouldn't mind paying the courier charges as well.. Few people have suggested Osram nightbreakers offering better light then again hard to find.

Philips has phased out the X-treme Power and has replaced it with the X-treme Vision bulbs.

The X-treme Vision is marketed as +100% brightness and 35m beam spread.

I installed this on my ninja and it is significantly brighter than the stock bulbs which are incidentally also philips (factory fitted bulbs are having the same product code but are Philips X-treme power bulbs).

Hyderabad is a fairly large city, should not be so hard to find them. I can courier them if need be, I don't remember for sure but it's around 800 a pair. Osram Nightbreakers are now replaced with Nightbreaker Plus ,supposedly having longer life, are their equivalent/rival to the Philips Xtreme Vision.

Hyderabad is a LaRgE city, i've been scouting around 5 months trying to find it . I have seen the Nightbreaker Plus available on ebay, however i can't see and know difference. Seen few members over here have posted their reviews on Philips x-treme vision on their cbr's. Hence just wanted to go ahead with it. i've heard same price as well 800 to 850 pair.

Which one would fit a Lancer ?

They are all the same bulb, in different packing. The Lancer uses H4 bulbs so this will a simple plug and play.

Not sure what the differences are, maybe just the packaging. Check with the authorized retailer. I would suggest Chawla Motors near JC road. He is reliable, trustworthy and does dole out discounts to customers as Philips offers some rebate during promotions etc.

those who had philips rally last time(100/90w), Never think of Xtreme Vision. You will be disappointed and feel like a fool after spending 1200 rupees.

The Rally is the best. Xtreme vision is only for those who dont want to change the Original equipments for the cars under warrenty.

Auto Impex does not stock this bulb anymore. Checked it out today. There is a shop next to sangam stores run by a muslim, forgot the name of the shop. Got the bulb there today for rs.500
