Here i am actually i have been there and checked the stuff... the things that are on the site are not what they have in real. the products are dearer than the OEM stuff. some how felt that they are not upto mark.

Hi all,

Good that Ram-west started this thread. Now we know the passion of team-bhp members for bullets. Would it not be a good idea to start a database of bulleteers across the country and plan rides of team-bhp in each city? There are few good biker clubs in each major cities and tag them along for rides.

As you are aware, off roading in jeeps and gypsies are on with jeepthirlls and suzukigypsy India.

I'm the proud owner of a 2001 std 500cc behemoth that, alas, has been lying unused in my hometown for over a year. Olivia has an oversized petrol tank (22 litres) and a fat rear tyre (Duro), but is in bone-stock condition otherwise.

I'm thinking of giving her a thorough dusting-down and revamp. I'll leave the engine alone because it hasn't given any trouble so far. I intend to replace the shock absorbers, clutch plates, tyres, and all cables and oils. A new seat cover too, perhaps, and a minimalist sticker job. She's devoid of stickers and decals now.

The paint (deep olive green) looks decent enough, so a good polish job should take care of that. But the chrome parts have sadly rusted. I guess replacing the handlebar, muffler, bent tube, leg-guard, rims and spokes will be easier than chrome-plating them. Or does anyone know anyone who does a good plating job in Bombay's western suburbs?

It practically broke my heart to see Olivia so neglected on my last visit, so I'm planning to make amends and get her ship-shape soon. I don't want to do any radical mods; I'm happy with the stock configuration. If any of you have any suggestions, please let me know.

My brother's not into bikes at all, it's been sitting idle for a year. The battery had been removed and kept in the house. Last week when I charged it and connected it to the bike, she fired up at the first kick. So that's encouraging.
